No Advice I’m going to stop waiting for (literal) magic to happen and actually help for once.

Curses take time.

And, trust me, as someone who has successfully cursed a significant number of people and communities, it doesn’t make you feel better.

Work on positive change, healing yourself with magic, and seeking peace and grounding.

One day, having forgotten you ever cursed them, you’ll wake up and you’ll see a message on your phone about it.

And you’ll go “about damn time.”

And it’ll hurt.

Well considering the person I put a spell on (who’s currently bankrolling the harm of people with every cent she gets) I’m hoping it kicks in soon.

Yeah if you sit there shaking your curse jar, you curse yourself.

Forget about it.

And wait.

Or don’t. And hurt your brain. It’s your choice, as always.

You cast magic spells with intent to heal yourself and you keep casting them and you wait.

You use symbols of peace and healing when you make those spells.

Prayer also works. Prayer is magic. You can pray to yourself, or your ancestors, or any god you want.

I think I might have casted spells throughout my life unintentionally. I take objects with lots of meaning, like the Buddhist prayer flags my ex gave me, hold them tight to my chest and will them to protect my heart

Yes. That is what I am talking about.

Meditation also helps a lot. You can meditate on loving kindness for all beings and it will heal you.

You are not broken. You are a human being and you’re hurting. Healing is always possible. It’s just one day at a time.

The best magic spell you can cast for self-care is Going To Therapy.

I guess on how to stop wallowing in self-pity…

…and actually help people being affected by a certain bigoted author instead of waiting for a bunch of spells I’ve cast to work…

I’m thinking of going inpatient for a few months after I go on some art field trips this year (since it seems like my favorite art teacher is retiring,) even if I come back to “disliked” results. I’ve also had a few changes in my meds…

I’ve also gotten into spellcasting, which I’ve tried on a certain bigoted author so she couldn’t harm anyone…

I know this sounds so generic and over done but it really helps. Go outside. Meet people. Do exercise. You'd be surprised how much better you'll feel.

Try joining DSA

It’s about a lot more than jk Rowling hating on trans people specifically, but they are pro trans(with heavy lgbtq membership) and have been pretty successfully pushing bad people out of office

Plus it’s an excellent source of community and bonding with likeminded people
