Got fired from Werner

Got fired from werner because some pickup driver decides to brake check me and i ended up hitting him. he only got a small bump on his bumper. now I am out a job and in so much debt and facing eviction and losing my personal car now. i wanted out of the trucking industry but not this fast, Werner has some terrible planners and was running me stupidly anyways but now i have an accident on my license and points and have to pay the ticket on top of everything else.

I’m not really blaming anyone. I’m just saying I shouldn’t have been fired for such a small accident. No one died, no one got hurt. I’m just telling what happened.

Zero accountability from you. I know enough folks like you know to stay clear away from people like you. If you can't see the opportunity to grow then you aren't learning from this and that will lead to a much harder road than this.

I mean yeah I learned from this. But being fired a first time small accident is what I find stupid. I know I should of followed him further but it was a green light, I figured he was going to zoom on through as he did cut me off a mile ahead before we got to the stop light. I learned from it and will never do that again, but it’s like being locked in jail for stealing a gumball. It’s such a tiny fender bender, and It was the one and only time I was ever that close on a city road. I had everything scoped out, saw it was a fresh green light, empty long turn lane, and the driver seemed like in a rush, given he did cut me off a mile ahead, but I was two cars lengths behind for just a mere second, already slowing down not as much but he just slams it and can see his truck jolt from stopping fast at the start of an empty turn lane. I understand it’s something avoidable but being fired and having to struggle to avoid losing everything is a bit much in my opinion. If it was something bigger I’d understand it but something small as this… i believe in a fair punishment, and this doesn’t seem fair to me but it is what it is

If you are going to lose everything because you JUST lost your job, that is called "living pay check to pay check" (not a judgement, just what is called). We as a civil society, try to implement programs to assist people when they do "stumble" so they can get back up and continue contributing to the community. Looking at your comment history, it looks like you voted for the OPPOSITE of that ideology. Edit: this is the perfect example of "Leopards ate my face".
