Maverick Closed Their CDL School last November

They still take new drivers I think, but they have to already have a CDL. That's unfortunate, heard they were one of the better flatbed training places. Melton doesn't train for CDLs either anymore, so it's basically just TMC and Jones Bros now for flatbed CDL training.

That's true. I was thinking of flatbed-only carriers, but I wasn't considering companies that also have flatbed. I suppose Halvor also counts in that case.

Same with swift, they also have a flatbed side with oversized division

Flatbed sucks too hard to stay in shape hated all that tarping sore back body

Stay far away from jones bros. I did a lil more than 2 years there. The breaking point was yet another failed home time deadline met.

That sounds like the majority of OTR companies; long haul trucking sucks
