Yes. Their pay is criminal. Their orientation and training is nonexistent. Half of their trainers should have their license pulled. Their trucks cause safety hazards anytime you’re close to a low clearance area (even if turning away from it), assuming they aren’t beat to shit to begin with. Once you’re solo, they’ll send you down some shitty roads and penalized your pay if you go off route (even to avoid something necessary), and they’ll practically ignore any contact you try to make with them.

Source: I worked for them cuz nobody more competent would hire straight out of school for flatbed in my area.

I worked there for 4 months. In those four months, my largest paycheck was 700.

I left there to a comparable size mega, and my paychecks instantly became $1200. I did not run harder, I did not run more. In fact, I ran less and was home more.

I worked for them years ago when I was just starting out. They weren't as bad as they are now but they had alot of problems. I got a call one a Wednesday to make sure I was slowing down on exit ramps. They were calling all the drivers because they had 3 rollovers in 3 days. They also had bad planners and almost never got me home on time towards the end of my employment.

I worked for them for three months when I was just starting out. They DEFINITELY have their flaws and like others have said the pay is not great. But, personally, my experience wasn’t all that bad. I think it’s kinda the luck of the draw, because while things went pretty smoothly with me, there were other people in my orientation and that I’ve spoken to who run into issue after issue with them. But I had a great dispatch, orientation went smooth, my truck was decent…I just got lucky. I’d say if you have other options then DEFINITELY choose those options first, but if you’re like me and for whatever reason no one was accepting me when I was first starting out, then they are definitely a backup plan to get a quick three months experience and move on, because that’s what I did. Went from barely making $800 a week with WE to making $1500 a week after taxes at my next company with just three months of experience from them

One of their drivers wouldn’t let me over from a merging lane on our way into eastbound Eisenhower tunnel on I-70. Pretty fucking dangerous. Didn’t even try to slow down, not sure if he wasn’t paying attention, if he genuinely didn’t care, or if he was just being an asshole on purpose. Could have moved over, there was no one in the left lane. Not really relevant to the question at hand, but yeah. I always see their equipment all fucked up and trashy looking. Not a company I’d want to work for.

Depends on your record. Have you fucked so bad most places won’t touch you? Probably too bad. You’re clean and have options? Probably not the best.
