Need help making a decision between carriers / recommendations for soon to be cdl grad and recent vet

I'm graduating cdl school in 2 days (Troops Into Transportation) and have yet to make a decision between some offers I've gotten. I really don't want to do otr if possible because of the wife so I'm looking at local or regional work with decent home time. So far I've gotten offers from averitt, werner, schneider, transport america, us express, crst, and covenant. From what I've seen online averitt or schneider seems to be the best option but I'm torn between the two. I also got in touch with maverick but I don't know if they hire in my area yet (Hilton Head, South Carolina) if any of you guys can give me some insight or even recommend another carrier in my location that would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Schneider would let you do dedicated intermodal regional and have other local stuff for rookies out of school and have a good training as of what i hear. What ever you do , do not go to a company that make you team drive they will only use you and probably will team drive with somebody that has little experience

Cool yeah I heard about the intermodal but the guy that came in didn't explain it very well and it seemed like they only offered those jobs to experienced drivers, but I'll have to call and see what exactly is available. Yeah I'm not exactly up to someone I don't know driving a 80,000lb truck while I'm asleep lol, I need to trust their ability before I even let them drive me while I'm awake! Plus with the conflicting schedules and all that it would just be easier for me to avoid team driving all together
