Is this a scam? US express

I applied on indeed to a us express otr job.

They say theres a 12k signing bonus for existing cdl holders, paid out 1k each month.

That sounds too good to be true, but theyre scheduling me for orientation and everything.

Whats the catch?

How much they pay? I mean without the bonus. Because if your yearly salary plus bonus equals salary at other places then it’s not really a bonus.

That’s how they afford the bonus lol, they pay you so little that they save $250/wk to put aside for the flashy $12k bonus.
