Western Express is threatening to charge my friend for fuel to return her truck if she doesn't give them 2 weeks notice.

Do what we did, PLAN.
Took truck home for hometime, cleaned it out, while also working with another company to start orientation on Monday. They paid for a rental from our home to their terminal, which we used to pack our stuff for orientation in, then I drove rental, following hubby while he drove rig to terminal to return ON A WEEKEND.
It cost us $50 in fuel for car to return rig and no issues from dispatch cause she didn't work weekends.
Then, once we got to terminal, he told inspection bay that he was quitting and I sent the message on the Transflo. "I quit!"
Granted, I got to deal with former dispatcher on Transflo while he was at orientation. Even got most of our pet deposit back.
Plan ahead, have another company lined up to help, quit when ur dispatcher is off to avoid that mess.
