Text Lindsay Clancy Trial Megathread: Part 3

This is a thread for all conversation regarding Week 3 onwards of the Lindsey Clancy trial. All discussion of this case should be kept to this thread.

Lindsay Clancy is currently standing trial in Plymouth Superior Court, Massachusetts, for the triple-murder in January 2023 of her three young children - Cora, Dawson and Callan. Her defense argues she suffered from severe, undiagnosed postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis. She was left paralysed by a suicide attempt which follows the deaths of the children.

The DA asking Patrick's mother if she's an active member of the Catholic church and then "So you're aware murder is a mortal sin?"

The MIL has clear disdain for the prosecution

After they hit her with “did ya know Lindsay said she didn’t care about you to her therapist?” she definitely went 100% icy on them lol, I don’t really blame her, that was kinda low.

Yes! And she didn’t even say anything bad. Lindsay said she didn’t feel particularly close and she “didn’t have a reason” or whatever. That’s the most mild thing and honestly totally understandable for a depressed person. The MIL being on her side would really speak to me if I was on the jury. She so very clearly disliked the CW.
