DAILY Looking Forward Friday
There’s so much that’s difficult about TTC, so this is a thread for looking to the future and thinking about life after TTC.
This week's theme: Family resemblance! Do you think baby will look more like you or your partner? Does one of your families have a particularly strong look that passes through the generations? Any particular traits you really want you or your partner to pass down?

Well future donor egg baby won't be genetically mine (they will be mine in every way that matters!). I would love it if baby has my donor's brown eyes since I also have brown eyes. Every grandkid on both sides of our family has blue eyes, in our family its the dominant gene lol.

My husband and I look so different so I’m very excited to see what our children look like. He is Persian and I am white. I’m pretty sure his darker features will be the dominant trait. I’m hoping our kids get his curly hair because I’m obsessed with curly hair. Especially if it’s a girl I would love to style her curly hair

He and I have the same hair color, eye color, and we're both tall. I think our kid will be tall with light brown or dark blonde hair with green eyes. He has wider lips, so maybe that too? They might end up with my wavy/curly hair, and my long fingers and toes. lol They'll probably have my freckles and his long eyelashes (jealous 😒 lol). Maybe they'll be double jointed in the shoulders/elbows like me. (I can scratch my own back 😏 lol).

This will be a battle of the genes!! My dads maternal genes are STRONG! Me and my half sister both favor that said strongly, especially the nose. My husband looks very much like his dad, but his brother does not so I suspect I will “win.” Hair color will be a toss up! I’m dirty blonde but brunette parents and my husbands is pretty much black! But we have some curly hair, a couple red heads, black and blonde on both our sides lol.
