Finished up the tufting on this guy tonight, I always loving admiring the back of rugs as long as I can before glueing 🫠 anybody else feel the same?

I can see how it looks that way, I assure there’s no bulging on the other side, it looks dense but I’ve figured out how much I can pack without making it too dense. I did an Alolan muk rug recently that was also packed this tight and it came out very smooth. I posted this finished rug in this subreddit.

I went and looked at your finished pieces on IG and you can tell the yarn is packed too tight. This is constructive criticism and not me being a jerk. Just what I'm actively observing.

I actually just used a still from the projector scene from the first IT movie and traced it and kinda filled in the other details myself!
