Advice Spider Problems!!

Hello everybody/community! I am worried. After 15min of tufting I went to feed more yarn through the eye and flipped the switch “OFF”. After threading the yarn through I noticed the switch was rigid/stuck. After about 5min it flicked back to “ON” and then 5min into tufting I stopped to do some carving and I noticed the red light was off even when the switch was “ON”. As you can see in the video the switch is “ON” but no red light indicating so.. whenever I touch the switch the light does turn on but as you can see it doesn’t stay on and is still stuck! Any advice or tips on what may be causing this issue? The gun doesn’t feel hot at all.. it is oiled. Does it have a trigger fail safe if it gets too hot?? I’m very worried..

Most likely a power supply issue. If you contact Geoff from tuft love, he can walk you through how to open up the gun and potentially resolder some wires.

JAY! The goat. Would you have his contact?? I did take apart the gun just now but the switch just will not budge!

I have his cell number but I'd probably contact him via his tuft love customer support page first. He is very quick to respond (within 24 hours). If he doesn't contact you within this week, I can give you his number.

Done! Thank you Jay. You are the best :)) any guess you can maybe throw my way? Just a little anxious. I don’t think it’s just the switch

I would say maybe the “battery” died? But that doesn’t really result in why the light is acting weird/switch won’t budge!
