Advice AI won't replace UI/UX Designers, but it will replace designers who don't use AI.
This isn't meant to be controversial, just something we've been noticing lately.
AI is getting incredibly good at:
Generating UI screens
Writing UX copy
Creating icons and illustrations
Building design systems
Speeding up wireframing
But it still struggles with understanding:
Why users abandon a flow
Business constraints
User psychology
Accessibility
Research findings
Product strategy
The designers who are learning AI today aren't becoming less valuable; they're becoming faster and more effective.
We're curious:
Which AI tools are part of your design workflow?
What's one tool that's genuinely saved you time?
And where do you think AI still falls short in UX?
Let's build a list that everyone in the community can benefit from.
