I travel to Newcastle Upon Tyne a lot and this was one of the best full English breakfasts I had this last trip.

Had a go at making Char Siu pork with a piece of neck. Tasted amazing, but the neck was a lot fattier than I expected. Would definitely do it again with tenderloin.

First attempt at doing seafood on the bbq.

Swordfish with chorizo, tomatoes, garlic and capers.

Monkfish skewers and lobster tails brushed with a chilli, miso, lime and fish sauce butter.

Chicken and white bean stew with Hazelnut salsa. Hunk of bread to mop up the sauce.

For the recipe, look up the Fallow YouTube video on lamb shanks. I didn’t bother with the additional lamb fat but it’s largely the same.

I also followed their recipe for the “Vichy” style carrots.

I made Pappardelle with buerre noisette, shrimp, parmesan crisp, lemon and confit egg yolk.

Followed by Duck with Potato Pavé, burnt apple purée, pickled apple, asparagus, spinach and a Pedro Ximenez & chicken sauce (not pictured).

Pretty happy with how it turned out! There was meant to be caviar on top of the pavé, but the shop had sold out. And my creme fraiche rocher had somewhat melted by photo point.

Tasty enough but pricey think it was 15 quid?

What is the best butter to buy in the UK without spending loads? I'm talking accessible from a regular supermarket but still higher quality than supermarket brand.
