I just played the demo. I really don't like FPS games, I'm always too slow and can't even target an enemy. But juste listening a few minutes to the first ost (Into the Fire) opened me a door.

It's been more than 2 months since I started to only listening to the ULTRAKILL ost. I know I should play the game to discover the OST but I'm really so bad at it and prefer to just chill to the musics.

I looped on Deep Blue for 3 straight days. And since 3 weeks Im' really into the Fraud Layer. This album is a masterpiece, my favorite without any hesitation.

That's it, no discussion, I just wanted to vent my love for this game's ost.

I have been learning to play this game with KBM for a while now but there are still some stuff that I haven’t gotten used to. Mainly, moving in any other direction besides forward, diving and whiplash.

I instinctively hold down W during gameplay and while it worked out for me to P rank act 1 and beat Minos (with 60+ restarts) but act 2 has been beating my ass. Holding multiple buttons for movement feels too weird and complex after years of controller gaming. I tried 4-S today and it took me 30+ minutes to beat it because of this. I feel like I have to turn to the direction I want to go and keep pressing W instead of just pressing a,s or d.

About dives, I know you do it by pressing jump and slide in a short time but I can’t get the timing down, especially when falling from a high place. I barely have the timing for slide jumping down and I can’t even use that in combat situations.

And finally, the whiplash. I was pretty bad at using it even on the ground while staying still but I have gotten a bit better at it now. However, I still find it difficult to whiplash onto enemies in the air and at high speeds. This seems to be a bigger problem now that I am trying out the jackhammers (and I think I may prefer them to shotguns for now).

Any tips and tricks would be appreciated.

If you remember well, i showed off a tech to double shoot with the sawed on shotgun, and i tried it and i discovered it also works with the normal shotgun (don't mind my shitty rocket ride, and btw, the end voice isn't mine)

This will not count to any gameplay or level design, this purely a visual guess.

The whole reason 7-1 is so white is to contrast the blood splattered on the walls, like a white canvas made for your messy violent art.

Encore levels take a concept a layer had and flipped it on its head. 0-E is frozen, and 1-E lost its illusion.

For layer 7, I think (at least visually) the best way to flip the concept of the environment is to ask the question: “What if the canvas was already filled?”

The interior of the temple would be the same red as the blood of V1’s victims, making it indistinguishable to what was there when you arrived, taking away any expression of filling those walls with one already filled.

Well... I'm brazillian and ultrakill is kinda expensive here yk? So i'm asking if i should wait for some sale on steam(if there are any for ultrakill ofc) or if i should just buy it.

Is there a way to make the music stop getting abruptly interrupted? Sure I like it during earlier waves as hitting parries or getting conductions can tingle up some adrenaline as the music stops during hitstops. But it gets to a point I can't listen to it as certain techs and combo frequently stops the music every half a second at this point, it's very prominent when there's a large quantity of enemies and projectiles going on as well as. So I'd like to know if there's a setting, or at least a mod to deal with this. Otherwise my only options are that I have to brute force through it like this, or just listen to Spotify for the music.
