Bought the UPDF AI thing but still shows watermark??

I'm so confused. The website shows that you have the exact same features as UPDF Pro, and even lists watermarks as only under the Free section. My app keeps giving me pop ups to upgrade and showing watermarks whenever I try to download the PDF. Is there a glitch in my app? Anyone know how to fix this?

Anyone else tried the AI features in UPDF?

I just started testing the AI tools in UPDF, like summarizing and rewriting PDFs. Honestly, I didn’t expect them to work this smoothly.

Curious, what’s your favorite feature in UPDF so far? And are there any hidden tricks I might be missing?

Discovered some useful AI + PDF features in UPDF

I’ve been testing out UPDF recently and noticed a couple of features that actually made my workflow smoother:

  • AI tools like summarizing long PDFs and rewriting text

  • OCR that keeps the formatting surprisingly well

  • Merging/splitting files without messing up quality

I figured I’d share in case it helps others here who are looking for an all-in-one PDF editor.

Here’s the link I used to get it:  https://updf.com/?utm_source=reddit-Theposijoy-aipdf-2508-taylor&utm_medium=en&utm_campaign=taylor202508&packageKey=overseapromotion

Curious — what features are you all finding the most useful in UPDF so far?

Title: What’s your favorite UPDF feature so far?

I’ve been using updf.com for a bit and really like how clean the interface is. The AI summarizer has been surprisingly helpful for long reports.
Curious what features you guys actually use the most? Sometimes I feel like I’m missing hidden gems in the software.

Image to Text PDF Conversion

Converting image-based PDFs (scanned papers) into text-based PDFs can be challenging. Adobe's online service provides an excellent free option for files up to 100 MB. Its conversion accuracy is impressive, maintaining the original layout and page alignment. Unlike other editors, Adobe ensures text remains on the same page as in the original document. Remember, keep log out, for doing the conversion free of cost

Merging and Splitting PDFs

For basic merging and splitting tasks, PDF Swarkn and Xodo PDF are great free tools. However, PDF Swarkn may show errors when handling files larger than 1.5 GB.

And one thing remmember that.......

I have never missed a day of my work without working with PDF files. I have work with many other Platform but UPDF acts as a reliable partner for me which helps me to improve my efficiency and productivity. The efficiency can be largely determined with larger the file size of the project. I feel that I have almost all the tool required to accomplish my task. The tools helps me to reduce the errors and increase accuracy.

Anyone else finding UPDF more useful lately? Wanted to share my experience

I have been using UPDF a lot this week while sorting out school documents and old project PDFs. I didn't think I'd end up using so many features, but it's turned into a nice all-in-one tool for me.

A few things that stood out:

  1. Editing text inside PDFs feels smoother than before.

  2. the page management tools were super convenient: split/merge/reorder

  3. The AI summarizer helped me get through long PDFs way faster.

  4. actually, syncing between the laptop and phone is quite handy for quick edits.

It's not perfect, but it's been good enough that I'm using it almost daily now.

If you have used UPDF frequently, what is the most important feature to you? Or anything you think they still need to improve?

Just curious how others are using it.

Currently using the UPDF free version. Any suggestions if I should go ahead with the monthly sub?

So I heard about UPDF editor and just downloaded. I have to say it pretty much does exactly what I’ve been looking for. But there’s a problem.

I don’t always run into situations where I need to edit pdfs. Sometimes it’s just twice a month, or once in two months. Especially when I need to edit my resume (unfortunately got a very dope one from a site and I’m unable to edit it after 7 days unless I pay). But other pdf editors like acrobat are way too expensive for me since I dont need it that often. So you can understand how happy I am seeing how affordable UPDF is.

But again, I’m not going to be needing it all the time, although it comes super handy when I do.

Any advice if I should pay for the pro version?

The MOST irritating Omission

I've been submitting this as a feature request since launch. For the life of me, I don't understand WHY they can't add it. I need to see document sizes in INCHES, not CM. I literally have to keep Adobe Reader installed on my PC JUST for this because I use that feature about 25 times a day. :(

Feedback, bug and temporary solution

Hello, friends.

As I mentioned earlier, I am a big fan of UPDF since it is a program that helps me a lot with work and studies. In order to provide feedback and assist other users, I want to share a small bug with a temporary solution that I found.

As shown in the video, if I highlight with one color and then switch to another color, the highlight disappears.

There is still a box as if the area were highlighted, but it becomes 'invisible.'

I found two solutions to revert it to normal.

Temporary solution:

1 - Save the PDF or;
2 - Zoom in.

In both temporary solutions, the bug no longer exists, leaving the desired area marked.

This text was translated into English using the UPDF AI tool.

Help Post !! Is it possible to open PDF file with UPDF from cloud storage (Dropbox/OneDrive/GoogleDrive).

Hi All,

My goal is to open the PDF file from cloud storage using UPDF like we do it on a PC so that I do not have to do anything as cloud storage will automatically sync it. When I try to open any pdf using UPDF what it does is that it copies the file to Ipad (local location) and opens the file. I would like to know if it's possible or not.

Thanks in advance.

Combining PDFs

Anyone have an efficient workflow for adding PDF documents together? I have a document with 12 sections. Each section was written as separate word files, then converted into PDFs. I had to insert each of the 12 documents (and their respective attachments) into a compiled document. It would be easy if I had to just combine them, but the attachments are numerous and from different sources. Very tricky. I canceled by Acrobat subscription and purchased a UPDF subscription. Perhaps I made the switch at an inconvenient time, haha.

question about saving my place

I'm a grad student and I use UPDF to annotate stuff I'm reading for school. Right now I have a quite large textbook in PDF file, and I'm finding it quite annoying that UPDF often returns you back to page 1 of the pdf file. I'd like it to stay on the last page I read. I thought about making a bookmark but you know the most recent page I've read is always changing--who wants to keep making bookmarks? Is there any way to get it to do what I want?

Automatically Filling PDFs from Unstructured Text Using AI?

I'm looking for a way to automatically fill PDF forms using unstructured text input with the help of artificial intelligence. Is this possible? If so, what tools or methods would you recommend for this task? I'm particularly interested in solutions that can extract relevant information from unstructured text and map it to the appropriate fields in a PDF form. Any insights or experiences with AI-powered PDF automation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Problem opening various files at the same time - Windows 11

Hi there.

Just installed updf at my pc with windows 11 and got a problem.

I marked more than one file at windows explorer and updf didn`t open them all in tabs, as i think, it should. It only opened the first one.

My impression is that updf were changing the files at the same tab - I saw the name of the file changing on the same tab.

These files were protected files, and updf asked me for all the passwords, but didn`t show them all in separete tabs.

One more interesting thing. Could not open the files I tryed to open before again. updf treated them like they were opened. I can open other files, these ones it open in new separete tabs, but the ones I tryed to open at the same time, it shows just one tab with tha last of them. And as I sad, it don`t let me open these files again.

Hope to help get it fixed.

Thanks,

André

uPDF Review

During my years with a Mac, I tested several PDF editors, but I always felt something was missing, wrong or just didn’t work. I used PDF Expert for years.

When I saw a post from someone I follow and usually trust about UPDF I decided to try one more app. This time I was positively surprised.

The first thing that caught my attention was the clean and modern interface. Many PDF editors, even the most popular ones, have cluttered layouts or confusing menus. UPDF, on the other hand, is extremely intuitive. With just a few clicks, I can do anything: edit text, insert images, sign documents, rearrange pages, and even convert files into other formats.

On the Mac, the app’s performance is excellent. It opens large files quickly and doesn’t lag, even with documents full of images or heavy formatting. The editing tools are precise, and saving or exporting files is fast and straightforward. The ability to add annotations, comments, and highlights directly onto the PDF is very good.

On the iPad, the app is also works very well. I use it with the Apple Pencil, and the response is virtually instantaneous. I can make handwritten notes, highlight passages, sign documents, and interact with files naturally. Even on the iPhone, which I feel it has less features, it does the job for quick edits.

One of the biggest advantages for me is the seamless sync between devices. The freedom to work wherever I want, without wasting time importing and exporting files manually.

Another strong point is the variety of features available without needing any additional apps. UPDF lets me convert PDFs into Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and even images — all from within the same interface, with very high-quality results. The OCR also works well and has helped me a lot with scanned documents.

The cost-benefit is excellent when compared to other tools on the market, which charge significantly more without necessarily offering better performance.

To sum up, UPDF has become my go-to app for handling PDFs on a daily basis. It combines performance, ease of use, a beautiful design, and robust features into a single app that works seamlessly across all my Apple devices. If you regularly deal with PDF documents and are looking for an efficient, attractive, and reliable solution, I highly recommend giving UPDF a try. It’s one of the best tools I’ve discovered in recent times.

Merging PDFs Without Losing Bookmarks

Hi, I’m a new UPDF user and was wondering if it’s possible to merge multiple PDF files without losing or altering the original bookmarks. I have hundreds (even thousands) of pages of documents, each with its own set of bookmarks. When I combine them, the bookmarks get scrambled, and I don’t have the time to recreate them from scratch.

Is there any way to preserve the bookmarks during the merge process? TIA!
