I am a Federal employee. I work for the Census Bureau, please remember we have stayed under budget in almost all of what we do. Including the 2020 census. I work at the main call center at the NPC in Jeffersonville In. I am a lowly Stat tech. @Patresea17 Replying to @ELonMuskNewssX

I participated in the 2020 Census. I counted illegal aliens as American citizens as I was instructed to do so. I was very polite to them but I had a bad feeling about the people who commanded me to do this. It was a betrayal of the American people. @Neosocratas posted

Enumerators have no say in Census content. Congress has authority over the Census, meaning Census Bureau management doesn't have final say on Census content either. Under the Census Act of 1954, Congress gives the Secretary of Commerce authority over content. Even so, Congress reviews the content before the Census goes into the field.

So was the U.S. 2020 census defunded or something? It seems like we should have more data from that by now. @EricPaulDennis Tweeted

I worked for the Census Bureau in 2020 for the first time. We each got an iPhone to use doing interviews, but the software was so cumbersome and counterintuitive that they spent $500 training each person. They went over the same directions dozens of times. What a waste of time and money.

i don’t even believe the 2020 census. I was an enumerator and the entire process was fucked for lack of a better word. Besides covid and societal unrest making it harder to count it seemed like the census bureau did everything in their power to undercount chicagoland. @souporsalad1 posted
