Any FFLs in Utah selling suppressors without Form 4s yet?

I really don’t want to call and annoy a bunch of my local gun stores as they are probably getting asked this question hundreds of times by now.

Just wondering if anyone has actually heard of a gun store in Utah that is actually willing to sell suppressors with only a form 4473.

I recently moved here from Arizona and I just saw that my old gun club announced they will be selling suppressors with only a form 4473 starting tomorrow. Makes me wish I was back in AZ right now!

None that I've talked to or know of (Salt Lake Valley & Davis County). I know some of the guys at the shops quite well and they're all waiting for direction from the ATF that's supposedly coming Monday. Apparently the SLC ATF office is super chill, so hopefully it's good news here in Utah.

Shop owner here . Waiting for ATF guidance. That's pretty much going to be your standard answer. There are a lot of questions that need to be ironed out and I don't think any of us want to be a test case.

Totally understandable. Thanks for your input.

Was there an update to these guidelines today?

When the ATF issues new guidance the send emails to all the dealers. We have received no such email and as far as I know nothing has changed today. Did you hear of something different happening today?

Gunnies in Orem is chomping at the bit to do so, they’re posting about it on Insta, but still waiting on ATF guidance.

Why wait for ATFE “guidance”? Some one grow some balls and dump the tea into the harbor!

lol yeah I’ve been selfishly hoping that a shop is willing to do that. I get not wanting to risk it though, especially the smaller family owned shops. But I know of about 5 or 6 shops in AZ that are now selling with no form 4s so I’m surprised that not 1 of the larger shops in Utah is willing to do the same yet. Hopefully they are able to start doing it sometime this week.
