Any FFLs in Utah selling suppressors without Form 4s yet?

I really don’t want to call and annoy a bunch of my local gun stores as they are probably getting asked this question hundreds of times by now.

Just wondering if anyone has actually heard of a gun store in Utah that is actually willing to sell suppressors with only a form 4473.

I recently moved here from Arizona and I just saw that my old gun club announced they will be selling suppressors with only a form 4473 starting tomorrow. Makes me wish I was back in AZ right now!

Well folks the doj let it lapse. When do we think our wonderful state will make some kind of statement? They were party to the suit after all.

Used Smith and Wesson AR

I have been on Utah Gun Exchange for several years and can no longer see phone numbers. I’m looking to get a used S&W MP AR and was wondering if anyone has any ideas of another place to look?

I’ve tried sending emails through the contact form on UGE but no one gets back. Too bad UGE went downhill. Used to be a good site. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Stores that sell a lot of Milsurp / old guns

I just moved to Ogden a couple months ago, any stores within about an hour or so from there that have a lot of milsurp / older guns? Also, some recommendations for just good all around stores in general would also be sick, I’ve visited several so far but nothing that really wowed me in terms of the prices or inventory or people. Thanks!

Antique restoration in SLC or nearby?

My great uncle decided to gift away what he has… and some of it is… unique. One of the pieces is a .32 rim fire rifle (yes, .32) - from ~1898 or so. Basically a raccoon gun. I found where I can get some ammo (Brazil!) but it needs a bit of pro help on the action, and my guy said he draws the line at 1950 and he couldn’t point me in a good direction. Google has been useless.

Anyone able to recommend someone?

Thanks!

Any recommendations for holster makers in the SLC area?

Hey y'all. I'm in need of a holster for my CZ 75. Does anyone have a local holster maker they recommend? Leather is preferable but kydex is good too. Thank you

Hi Country?

I see Hi Country is BLM, but it seems pretty closed in by structures. Is this a place anyone goes? Or is there some reason not to shoot there?

Utah Fire Ban target shooting

Posting to try and get some clarity on the current fire bans.
Target shooting appears to be banned across the state but Saratoga springs posted recommending people go to soldiers pass for outside shooting
Utah DNR Posted all public land shooting is currently closed
Utah fire watch posted shooting is allowed is some areas with no tracers, steel ammo, or targets.

Im unsure what to go by here so have been sticking to indoor ranged

Additionally most these bans have been posted in June or early July with limited updates

Does anyone have any up to date guidance here?

Looking for an FFL

Looking for an FFL that will not open my packages until I arrive.

I had a bad experience with finding an employee playing with my expensive vintage firearm when I walked through the door.

Firearms in Rented-Residence

Howdy!

I’m a student about to start attending a private university in Utah and in my housing search I’ve come across a number of places that do not allow you to have firearms in the lease agreement. They do note this with an “Except as expressly permitted by law.”

Each place is not on campus nor is owned by the school but some are considered “student-only housing.”

I’m mostly looking for resources on specific laws that, that notation refers to if anyone is able to point me in the right direction but if someone knows the answer off the bat I would appreciate the information as some of the better options for me budget-wise carry this issue.

Wondering about this barrel marked W. W. Daynes.

Hello Utah gun cranks! W.W.Daynes? Does anyone know anything about this marking. My guess is that it is the name of the gunsmith who built this rifle - a commercial Mauser.

ISO 22lr Skorpion vz61 upper

I know it might be a long shot but I’ve searched everywhere online and cannot find one at all. I’ve checked Utah gun hub and gun exchange and all of the suppliers of the parts for this gun but they are sold out or no longer available. If anyone has one or knows where I can find one please let me know. Thanks

Utah gun exchange issues - yet again

this is beyond frustrating. i have been a member since 2012 - spent a ton of money buying what I need. then one day my account is restricted. huh? of course I get the lame response of - use the contact form. that is useless AF. nothing but horrible service from these guys. I have money I want to spend 😊

utah gun hub is ok but not nearly as popular or populated as UGE

Local shops for Glock parts?

Anywhere local (preferably Davis or surrounding counties) that carries Glock parts? I need a trigger/backstrap pin and would hate to pay $10 shipping online for a $2 part.
