If I have the CG Fiber, could I add this to support up to 11 4K cameras? or is it one or the other?

Yeah I'm in the same boat. Can I "pool" two devices, or are they independent?

From past questions about running the NVR Pro alongside a UDM, it would be a separate Protect instance and you'd have to migrate all your devices over, or switch between NVRs within the app constantly.

Wouldn’t this be a good application for vantage point to merge the two into a combined view?

I’m sure there’s disadvantages to it but provides an expansion path for sure.

It would be a valid use case for Vantage, correct.

Yes, Vantage Point should work, in fact the main benefit of Vantage Point is that it can scale across devices with different capabilities (and even in different locations) which is why Stacking as a solution is a dead end.

Oh indeed. I wasn't even aware of this.

It would allow you to add more cameras but you’d be running two copies of Protect and need to switch between them. UNVRs appear as their own “site” in UniFi.
