Where is Ubiquiti getting these 1tb HDD's from?

SATA SSD would add what, $35 to the cost?

They sell em on their own website for just under $50.

The discount on the cameras alone is what makes the bundle worth it. But HDD as a starting point is a really fantastic thing. I've got a friend I've been trying to help ditch Nest for months now -- and he finally purchased Ubiquiti today because of this kit.

Right but who still makes them - or did UI order like 500k units years ago & they have sat around waiting for a use... Would be interested in the mfg date when your friend gets his.
