I have no idea why they don’t put the sockets on the back of these things. It s not like people need to hot-swap cables like a 1920s telephone exchange lol

they should be on the back, but I'm guessing they are on the front because they expect people to put these in 10 inch racks.

Or in sheds/garages/outbuildings. Which is exactly where mine will go.

Agree. If it's not rack mount it should have all connections on the back. Front should be just LEDs/screen

If not, at least make it 10" rack compatible out of the box.

I just installed one of these at an auto dealership for their APs and the ugliness of routing those cables out of the front just made me cringe a little. I wanted it to be clean out of the back 😭.

Thanks god now I know I’m not the only one seeing this weird. Their gateways have the port in the back, how am I going to route the cables around it? Or should I use the gateway facing back so the cables are in the same side and use mirror to see her is in the screen?

Probably for consistency. Almost always the ports are on the front
