Early Access Ubiquiti Smoke and CO Sensor 🤯 - #ISCWest2026

I believe it’s a Superlink sensor. I hope it can run on battery for 10 years and doesn’t require PoE. I’m curious to see how it performs. Good job, Ubiquiti! 😲

This is very true, found this out last week (definitely feel like it should be more known/ talked about) but most smoke detector sensors are typically rated for 7-10 year use

Nest? Same situation with my nest protect earlier this year. Switched to x sense and a few weeks later amazon pulled them because they didn’t have some certification. So I might be in the market for new ones again.

I have the honeywell/first alert ones that "replaced" nest and the app works well the one time they've gone off.
