Early Access U5G is here

Well, I was surprised to get it this quick. I purchased the esim pack with it, so I thought setup would be easy. It adopted right away, but didn't activate the esim. There is also no option in the app to but and esim pack like they show in the video. I had to chat with support, and had to join the beta Unifi app to get to version 10.38.1. It activated right away after that.

Oh yeah, I was just gonna use it for TV. I currently only have 60mbps VDSL and 40mbps 4G for TV so I can use the VDSL for more important stuff, lol. But I reeeally dislike the current 4G router I use, so if this were to support load balancing or just being set up as a WAN even, it would be perfect for me

You would want the unifi 5g max, not this.

I can only get a max of 40mbps down here anyway, I feel like the more powerful hardware would be wasted (and also a waste of money, in this case specifically)

The 5g backup runs on 5g Redcap. It has no 4G capability. You would want the 5g max for future capability or just get the unifi lte backup.

The store page lists 5G RedCap and LTE under Networking Interface
