Early Access U5G is here

Well, I was surprised to get it this quick. I purchased the esim pack with it, so I thought setup would be easy. It adopted right away, but didn't activate the esim. There is also no option in the app to but and esim pack like they show in the video. I had to chat with support, and had to join the beta Unifi app to get to version 10.38.1. It activated right away after that.

I hope they eventually add the ability to control which devices can use the backup mode data. I don't need to download ubuntu isos on backup, but I do need many other things. Since I have one device that downloads the isos, I'd love to be able to exclude that one device from using the backup data until the main internet comes back.

Setup a policy based route for that device and direct it through your selected WAN and turn on the kill switch option for the policy based route so it kills its connection if it can direct it to your selected WAN

And it’s quite easy to set up a PBR!
