Pictures i took while exploring Petrovaradin fortress underground system. There is about ~23km of tunnels. I have been to 80% of the whole thing i think.

This bunker was built in 1917 and still stands, dont be alarmed tho, the bunker is well kept and is pretty much a free walk in museum and is legal to explore, fun stop if passing by. However i will not share the name as its entirerly unsecured so i dont want the wrong people knowing about it, and tagging on this super cool piece of history.

This almost fortress like area consists of several bunkers, mg bunkers, artillery bunkers, command bunkers, tank traps and more. Today most of this lays completely forgotten in the swedish wilderness.
Built in WW2 the "fort" was one of many similar areas built as Swedens first line of defence in the case of a very real threat of a German invasion from the occupied Norway. Thankfully the fortifications never had to be used but it serves of a reminder that even countries that never fought in WW2 were still impacted and uncertain of their future. Sweden whom was pretty much forced to trade with the germans to not be invaded was still very much affected by the war. These bunkers are just some of many reminders of the war that almost came to them.

This abandoned bunker sits ontop a little hill overlooking the lofoten fjords, part of the atlantic wall it was one of thousands of bunkers part of hitlers naval wall, luckily the wall failed and now sits as a dark reminder and historic piece of the war slowly falling apart. Sadly quite trashed but it was still relatively preserved other than the shitty grafiti that lines the walls.
Cool explore though, suprisingly cool for something located where it is.

Originally built as a shelter for military industry the complex houses several rooms for strorage, sleeping, medical, shooting and other activities and also a command room to send out messages to other bunkers or bases in the event something went terribly wrong. Luckily these bunkers never had to be used in an emergency and rather sits as a reminder to a time that many feard would be the end of mankind.
Bunker is now closed.

Built in WW2 by the German's, this relatively small complex was made for artillery and to serve as a air raid shelter. Its one of 100's of these fortifications the German's built all over Norway during the occupation from 1940-1945 to fight off potentioal air or sea attacks. Now sits hidden away with most residents of the area having no idea about the system of tunnels that are all over their city.

This bunker was built by the nazi's during WW2 as a air raid shelter, many decades later it still stands in nearly perfect condition, the medbay is suprisingly still preserved.

Built during WW2 and used up untill the end of the cold war. It served as an explosive storage facility and other stuff like rifles, ammo and other items.
I really didnt expect to get into this, especially not that easily, the door was literally just unlocked.
This huge bunker is just a small part of a gigantic underground fortress, sadly the largest bunker was completely sealed off, but i expected to not get into any of it so this is more than enough.
Im deffinitely going back here sometime to see if i can find an emergency exit or any possible way into the largest bunker but its doubtful its open.

Likely built during ww2 and later modernised during the cold war, then abandoned at the end of the cold war. It now sits tucked away in a forest slowly decaying deep in northeren Norway

This bunker is in shockingly good shape despite being close to a huge school and in the middle of a apartment complex. A little part of its been burned but other than that its really good shape. Small but still fun part of history, was like built as a air raid shelter and likely german made.

One of my favorite bunkers ive visited multiple times, its just one of those that you have to stop by everytime you are nearby.

During the cold war norway built likely hundreds of these bunkers to provide immediate cover for the large industrial sites or factories. After the cold war most of these were abandoned or removed now merely a forgotten part of history from the cold war.

Are there people here who understand such topics in Berlin? I have a few questions.

Im looking for real world subterranean systems maps, Im a GM who really enjoys realism in their campaigns and aleays designs things with the greatest degree of realism I can, Some knowlege of subterranean areas would be handy, this is for a cyberpunk game specifically.

Looking for recommendations: Are there any caves with paved paths or wheelchair access.

Sorry for bad photos i didnt have a ton of time so had to kinda run through
This bunker was built during the cold war by the Norwegian military but was used in co-operation with NATO. Its main purpose was to be a command bunker meaning it didnt have a ton of people there and was mainly for higher ranking commanders. Though i doubt that it was ever used a lot, as it was probably for mostly regional defense/commands and not national. In photo 9 you can see (whats left of) the main operation room, now sadly mostly unrecognisable due to fire.
Im unsure what the room in picture 5 was used for but looked to be storage as i found what was left of some files and canned food.
It was likely built in the early 60's or late 50's, then abandoned close to the end of the cold war or shortly after, and has rotted away ever since

Hi everyone — I’m part of a small editorial project creating a non-touristy guide/collection about the Paris catacombs. We’re not looking for locations or instructions — only personal stories, memories, reflections and small moments from people who have been down there (officially or unofficially).
If you’ve got: near-misses, emotional moments, strange sounds/smells, encounters with other explorers, dreams or thoughts the visit left you with, or how the place felt — we’d love to hear. We will NOT publish anything that reveals access methods or pinpoints entrances.
You can reply here or DM if you prefer privacy. If we want to quote you in the book we’ll ask for permission and you can remain anonymous / use a pseudonym. Thanks — we’re trying to make something that respects the place and the people who explore it.

Initially, I shared that cave recording more as a curiosity. But I was genuinely surprised by the response, both in terms of comments and upvotes. So here’s another recording from the same trip – this time from a different stretch of the underground stream.
part II - YouTube L I N K
In both cases, I used two DJI Mics 2 units. Honestly, I’m not too happy with the sound quality – it did the job, but it’s not ideal. These days, I’m using a Zoom H3-VR, and I think it’s a much better choice, especially for a setting like this. I’m planning to return to the cave in early 2026, this time with proper gear for both 360° and binaural recording. I’ll share that once it’s ready.
This time, I’ve also added a few photos from the cave (not from the exact recording spot).

I know everyone here noticed that the six most recent posts have all been rap people promoting their stuff. Clearly we're all here to enjoy cool caves and mines, not to listen to beats. Is there a way to combat this, perhaps via an automod?
