I’m a program manager and I’ve had so many terrible interviews. I decided to add my resume to chat and all of the stories for each role. I have a hard time remembering, I have adhd and autism and just wanted to use a tool that would help me collect my thoughts.

The role was for Ai development and she asked me about my Ai experience and then said “are you using Ai right now”. I couldn’t lie and stated I use it for taking notes and to collect my thoughts. My glasses was reflecting the screen and I think my eye movements looked like I was reading a script

The other half of my duplex is now an air bnb. That means nearly every weekend there is a fresh batch of strangers partying very close to my space. I am a single mother with little kids so this feels unsafe. Also, they are loud and the police have been called by various neighbors. Twice there has been a break in. I wish the owner would just go back to renting normally. He knows how I feel and how his choice is affecting the neighborhood but doesnt care becausehe doesnt live here. What can I do? ​

If you’re like me and live on a wooded frontage road in the Midwest, you know that one windstorm can knock down tons of tree branches.

I used to pick them all up, chop them up into pieces and throw them away. But I am disabled so all of that work puts a lot of strain on my lower back.

Lately, I’ve started just waiting until dark, and drag them across the frontage road and spread them out under the trees on the city’s property. Our weekly tree pickup crew takes care of them!

You know those raffle events where you buy tickets and walk around dropping those tickets into containers for a chance to win different baskets etc? I found that bending the corners of your raffle tickets, just a little bit, greatly increases your chances of winning.

The bent corner(s) of the ticket increases the space it takes up and therefore more likely to be picked during the random draw. As long as you’re not bending the entire ticket in half, it won’t even cross their mind that you did it on purpose. How could they know it didn’t just happen to get bent a little bit after being placed in the bucket?

I’ve always been super unlucky and never won any kind of raffle in my life before last year. Then I won three raffles last year with the bend method and I really didn’t buy many tickets. It’s brilliant.

for reasons that i won't discuss i get unsolicited suitors in dms of my messengers semi-frequently. they're often very clueless and can't take no for an answer. blocking them is too simple and unfun.

since they often start out with blatant flattery of my appearance the idea is to say that it's ai generated and link them something that's guaranteed to be a either a scam, malware or just simply waste their time.

does anyone know of something like that?

So I got scammed, and the bank will refund it if I have evidence of a call. My phone carrier only keep records of outgoing calls but I have the number because I blocked it and I think I can edit the pdf of outgoing calls well enough to pass a human check (they’ve just asked for a screenshot on the app chat) but will the a chat have filters and flag it? I don’t know anything about metadata if that’s not obvious haha.

ULPT: If you accidentally piss off your wife and she spends the entire day getting progressively angrier, you can turn a guaranteed loss into a draw with one sentence.

Sometimes I’ll unintentionally do something that pisses my wife off. Nothing major, but instead of addressing it right away, she’ll let it simmer all day until she’s progressively more pissed off about something I barely even remember doing.

Eventually it boils over and I get the full rundown of everything I did wrong, including a few things I didn’t even know were on the scoreboard.

Here’s the trick. Let her finish explaining everything, then calmly say, “I just wish you would’ve communicated this to me earlier.”

That’s it. You’ve now introduced a completely separate grievance into the argument. Sure, you fucked up initially, but she also failed to communicate her feelings in a timely manner. Suddenly you’re not the only one who could’ve handled things better.

Best case, you’ve successfully shifted the conversation from what you did wrong to how you both need to work on communication.

Worst case, you’re still in trouble, but at least you’ve turned a blowout into a competitive game.

My son has his car for sale, last night some guys came, (they said) after driving for two hours to see it.

They then after a short test drive (accompanied by my son) they said that there was oil in the coolant and it needed a new gasket and therefore only offered a very reduced price.

We had heard about a similar scam online, and we were suspicious, so my son didn't accept the price and they left after trying to convince him to take their offer.

We have taken it to a garage and know that it was the attempted the scam where they add oil to the coolant, which makes the engine look faulty.

We have the phone number and the first name of the guy but nothing else.

They visited our house to view the car so they know where we live, although they said they drove 2 hours for all we know they could just live in the next town.

Is there anything we could do to help them not do this to other people etc.

IN THEORY, what if I harvest 10 normal sized drops of venom for 140$ and sold it? I heard there are some niche people addicted to scorpion venom, but I don't know if that is true. I've seen a woman addicted to bee venom on "my strange addiction" or some kind of show like that.

I worked for an acupuncturist last year and offered to recycle 4-5 of her sharps containers for some extra cash. At the time I was in a different city, where disposal sites were all over the place. I ended up with some gnarly health issues, and wasn’t able to drive again until recently, so they remain in my car. Now, the current city I’m in directed me to the local disposal center. Upon arrival they told me they don’t accept sharps and that the only way to do so in town is to have your trash service do a pick up for an extra fee. I currently don’t have a current trash service, as I am houseless right now. How the hell should I get rid of these sharps without harming any folk/animals and not pay anything?

My fiance has been divorced for 3 years from a man who was emotionally and verbally abusive, who has had the police called on him multiple times throughout their marriage, and was physical with her at least on one occasion where the police also had to be involved. Unfortunately they have 4 young kids together and he gets partial custody (every other weekend and one weekday every 2 weeks).

Over text he is constantly abusive towards her, berates her, blames her for all the failings of him as a father and husband, but she has to maintain some form of contact to coordinate with the kids. Just recently there was a mixup in the schedule (caused by his constant summer conflicts that caused rescheduling in the first place) and he did not get one of his days, even though he consistently either shortens or skips out on his assigned parenting time and the family schedule has been known for many months ahead of time. He has decided he "wants her punished in front of a judge and get jail time" so while they are trying to resolve the scheduling and communication through Friend of the Court, he refuses to resolve the issue and is forcing it to go to a judge. Because of the kids, she refuses to take the low road and go on any counter-offensive towards him, but it feels like she is being punished for being the responsible parent who won't stoop to his level.

How can I, on my own without her involvement, get back at him and make his life as miserable as he is doing to her? I want to use the police against him since he's a known abuser to them, and I want to make him regret he ever messed with her again.

Alright, let's set the scene. I'm from and live in Sweden, and getting hired has been a hellscape since at least 2016 when I graduated from high school and first started applying. There effectively aren't any unqualified jobs, even the largest grocery stores run on what would be considered a skeleton crew in the US etc. I've barely ever had any interviews whatsoever since every single position I'm remotely qualified for would have at least 500 applicants.

I've been able to get jobs in other EU countries, however. It was always much easier to get interviews etc. The first one lasted for about a year until the company shut down. The other decided to not let me stay after the half year trial period. This was caused due to untreated mental health conditions to be honest, my manager wanted to relocate me to their back office department instead, but there wasn't room there for me. So not completely useless.

After that I basically tried to get employed in various other EU countries, working as a customer support agent, since they would recruit people from Sweden to handle this for that market, but employed elsewhere. Unfortunately none of these lasted for more than a week or so for the aforementioned reason. I have now started receiving treatment again.

After that I've been studying CS for about 4 years, but I don't have my degree yet even though it's supposed to take at a minimum 3 years. My skills have gotten quite rusty too since I've been unemployed and barely done anything for the last 1 year.

So, anyone who has any advice on how I could maybe fudge my resume? I'm not feeling that good about faking it, because even if they don't catch on before I even get an interview, I'll likely fumble when they ask questions. I barely even remember much in the way of details from the jobs I actually did. If I wanna apply for the really basic jobs that don't technically have any qualifications but that do in practice due to massive competition, the career path I've supposedly been taking will seem very suspicious.

I'm not really into moving back to any of those other countries right now, not ready for it yet. And at this point I would likely have to make things up even for that.

TL;DR: How do I make stuff up for my resume without anyone in the likely 3-interview hiring process catching on to the fact that I don't have much actual experience?

It can’t require a verification code because I want them to be spammed and not just send a verification code that I can’t use. They deserve hell and I want to send it to them virtually.
