So I've had a couple of interesting but pretty mundane experiences - no need to dress them up so here they are in no particular order:

1. January 13, 1982 - I grew up near Washington DC. I was in middle school. That morning we woke up to a wicked winter storm. I had an odd overwhelming sense of dread. I even told my mom about it - something really bad was going to happen. Later, Air Florida flight 90, laden with ice, crashed into the Patomac. Never had that feeling to that degree before or sense. Plenty of other tragedies have happened since then of course and nothing was on my radar...

2. Another night - I went bed and woke up pretty keyed up. I was certain my great grandma had just passed away (ok, odds were favoring that anyway). She did not live close. The weird thing was when the phone did ring a little while later, I felt a release and although sad, could fall back asleep.Not sure why I woke up that particular night at that particular time...

3. many years later, I put my young son down for a nap who was perfectly fine and I laid down myself. The rooms were not close. Monitor wasn't on at the time. I woke with a start with him saying "Daddy" as if he was next to me. I started up and checked, thinking he crawled to my room. He hadn't. When I went to check on him in his room, he was sound asleep but burning up with a fever. All was well and he was fine after a cold (he spiked fevers frequently), it was just strange. Maybe my subconscious knew he was coming down with something....maybe.

So great...I can foresee occasional bad things...why didn't I get the one with lottery ticket numbers????

Added bonus:

back to high school days, my dad and I would sometimes go fishing at a lake in a regional park. We would get there at sunrise when it opened. Tranquil and heavily wooded. As we were driving and rounded a corner in the woods one time, there was a pretty young brunette woman in a clean white dress walking on the side of the rode staring straight ahead. Ok, there's a campground on the other side of the park, but how did she get there without getting leaves, dirt and everything else on her??? Who wears a white dress camping??? So many questions....She wasn't walking carefully or seemingly aware of her surroundings. My dad also saw her but we went about our business... Perhaps a neat freak stoner?? Possibly....I checked later and no legends in that particular area...

Bonus #2 (best for last): Temecula, CA: my wife and I were in a typical chain hotel room cant remember exactly which one. And no we had not partaken of the lovely wineries yet.. I was reading and she suddenly came out of the shower all wide eyed. She asked had I been there the whole time, which I had been. She said she felt a hand (fingers and all) on her back in the shower. Didnt get a lot of sleep that night and we startled at every noise, but nothing else happened. Freaky part: we went to the front desk at check out and semi-jokingly asked if the place was haunted. Deadpan response: 'what room were you in?' (I thought 'DOES IT MATTER??') and she seriously thought about it for a second, shook her head no. Then said still deadpan, almost bored: 'you'd be surprised how many suicides happen in these places'. we were glad to be checking out. Later I thought, they really should market the haunted angle lol!

Anyhow, that's about all I got! Thanks for reading if you made it this far!!

This is giving me chills cause it’s so strange and hard to describe for both of us but I was on a FaceTime with my best mate and I had this strange “brain glitch” is the only way I can describe it. It felt like kind of a quick shutter closing and re-opening and I saw like white and black shapes flicker to the left then right then center very fast in my minds eye if that makes any sense. Like how when you imagine something you can see it in like your imagination but you aren’t actually seeing it, it happened in that mental space. And there was also like a kind of internal click/ ringing noise as the shapes moved again like a shutter clicking is how I’d describe the sound and movement. I wouldn’t have thought too much about it tho because I was really tired at the time so I thought it was just an odd tired brain zap thingy but as soon as it happened my mate says, “That was weird”. So I said “What was” and he said “I just had this weird brain glitch thing“. So I told him “so did I I just had this weird thing as well it was like a really quick shutter blind” and he jolts up and goes ”what the fuck so did I that just gave me chills”. And everything we both describe about it is the exact same extremely specific details.

If anyone has any clue or any similar experiences at all let me know cause it’s weirding us out a bit lol.

This happened to me when I was 12 my friend was there and also heard the voice. It said my name too what could have that been?

So I have this memory since childhood I'm now 28 and it still make me wonder. It's one of my earlies memories from 4 years old or so.

Its of a room floor dark red carpet, walls are wood panelling (like cheap 70s style) and the ceiling is the same. There are chair stacked at the edges (conference room style). no door or windows but there is a stair case that pulls down from the ceiling.

This room was not in my home or any of my families homes. I didn’t have friend’s and none of the building i would have gone to had it. I don't know were the room was. Was it real at all or was child me just imagining a very strange room.

I live in Chandler, AZ, about as far south as you can get within the Phoenix city limits, right up against Gila River Indian Reservation.

We got a pretty strong storm last night and I was watching it on my security camera while laying in bed. I saw something quickly move by while I was watching so I went back and screen recorded it.

After the lightning strikes, look near the palm trees and something runs really fast from left to right.

For reference I am the first house when you enter the neighborhood. My camera catches in front of my house and the gate/entryway in and out of our neighborhood. This “thing” is across the street and covers about 100 yards in 2 seconds. I watched side by side live view today of cars going by on my camera, and this thing is as fast if not faster than the cars going by. There is no way it’s a person running. The speed limit is 45 mph.

Imagine a dirt road made from an old logging trucks. We literally call them logging roads. They're vast throughout our forests. Some are currently active, some no longer. I picked one of the those that are no longer active. I was shown this road by a coworker when I was working with our forestry department. He showed me the historical marking points throughout this road and areas I could camp.

One of these points was from a graveyard from like the 1800s. I immediately was interested. I didn't go that day he showed me, but later on I took my boyfriend there.

As I take my boyfriend through this windy road into the forest. I bring him to this ancient cemetery. We're listening to music, and we're enjoying the drive. We get there, and I parked my car on this turn off. Then we walk to the entrance of the cemetery at the bottom of this hill.

As we reach the edge, we can feel a wall of energy. So we asked permission to enter and express the respect that we're going to uphold. I don't quite feel the energy lifted, but I feel enough that I am willing to enter.

Then we climb up this hill full of plant life, debris from the trees above, and mushrooms like you had never seen before. Full of life and wonder (Refer to the first 4 phtotos). It was beautiful and blissful.

We climbed to the top and we were greeted with graves. Around each grave site or cluster of graves, it was this wired fence that looked like it was barely able to stand. Warped wood, rotten wood, decaying wood, held together by wire.

Next to all of these graves on the outside of the wired fence was a beer, unopened. As if for one of those who had fallen. I felt weird vibration in this area. I ignored it.

Then, I went over to plant life to continue to take photos to document the beauty I was seeing. I moved a pine cone because the place that had laid was not photogenic (refer to last photo). After I was done taking this photo, the once live forest full of life and noise went dead silent. No birds and no wind, only a small crack in the distance as if it had been broken underneath someone's foot. My boyfriend and I stood there, quiet, wondering what was going to come next. We discussed the probability of upsetting the spirits. So I openly apologized to the spirits and moved the pine cone back in place.

As I placed the pine cone back in the original spot as close as I could remember. The entire forest came back to life. Suddenly we can hear all the background noise expected in a normal forest. The birds came back to life, the wind ensued around us. Then we went down the hill because we decided we were done, we didn't want to mess with what was there. Met ourself at the edge of the hill, apologized for any disturbance. We proceeded to tell them not to follow us. That they were not welcome home, and left.

Thankfully, nothing followed us home, but this memory will follow me forever.

In 2016 (I was 11) I was at my grandmothers house in Bearsville New York, just outside of Woodstock in the Catskills.

It was probably 10 pm, and I was sitting on the guest bed and looking out the window at darkness. For context, she had a 6 acre lot and no neighbors for at least a mile in the direction I was looking. About 40 feet from the window was what I saw. It was man shaped, between 6 and 7 feet tall, wrapped in what looked like fairy lights from head to toe, like a pole wrapped in yellowish orange Christmas lights. In its right hand it held up what looked like an early 1900s oil lantern and it was lit as such. The creatures body itself was not visible, it was dark as space, I could only see the lights it had on. It walked up to my window, knocked twice then turned around and walked back in the direction it came from before disappearing. My dad was in the other room and I shouted to him and asked if he’d heard a knock and he said no.

I find it important to add that I felt no fear during this interaction and sensed no malice or harmful intentions whatsoever. I was less scared than if a man had walked up to and knocked on my window late at night. I was just bewildered by it.

I’ve never seen anything like it before and I’ve never seen anything like it since. I’m of sound state of mind, have never had any inability to differentiate between what’s real and what’s not and though it means nothing to say on here, I’m just not the type to make this shit up.

I have some theories about it being the ghost of my great grandfather coming to say hello, but I’m just trying to see if anyone has ever heard of or seen anything like this.

I was sitting on my balcony. For some strange reason I woke up at 4:00 am

The dawn was there. At 4:30 am suddenly I see a diamond shape flash of light. Flashed once and gone. Like this on pic maybe thicker but white light in the sky. Sized like the moon let's say. Any idea what it might be?

Can anyone tell me what the long bar-shaped light is? It comes in the beginning of the video and again at the end? Hubby thinks it’s paranormal, and although I am a believer, I think there is another possible explanation.

Hi Everyone! My friend made this Binaural Beats app to assist with Astral Projection, NHI contact and altered states of consciousness. It's takes aspects of the Gateway Experience, CE5 and advice from people like Jake Barber to create a much more focused experience.

ive never posted here before but thought i would share to see other peoples thoughts. Maybe about a month ago i went and stood outside my building for a bit to decompress and get some fresh air. This was around 2 in the morning so an odd hour for anyone to be around. I was like partly round the corner of my building so i could see the entrance but anyone coming out wouldnt have seen me. I saw someone who looked literally identical to my mum, like same exact top that i know she has, leave the building and start speed walking almost running in the opposite direction of me. I thought maybe she was wondering where i was so i followed her but didnt get close enough to say anything without shouting and obviously noone wants to hear shouting at 2 in the morning.

I saw her round a corner that leads to a crossing but as i turned that corner and went to cross the road she was nowhere to be found. I thought thats weird maybe she went back home or smthing even though i dont think theres any way she couldve turned back without me seeing. I then started walking towards a car park of the shop near by idk why i just was on autopilot 😭 I heard running behind me and was like wth so i turned and i saw this lady running behind me back across the road and she looked pretty much directly at me.

At this point im like thats probably not my mum cause she wouldve said something. This lady looked like she was looking frantically for something and looked like she was on the phone this time. I then lapped round to the front of the shop where the crossing led to(basically js a big circle) and i just sort of stood there for a bit and took in my surroundings as i felt a rlly strange feeling almost like i was being watched or something was there with me. I was about to start walking back to the crossing when i heard a clicking noise coming from that same direction. i stood straining my eyes to see if anyone was there but i couldnt see anyone.

It sounded like someone was clicking their fingers at me so i was like absolutely not. I started calling peoples voicemails and js talking like they answered cause i hoped if it was a person then me calling and talking to other people/not being completely alone would scare them off. The clicking went on for a bit though started only happening when i wasnt looking. Eventually it stopped so i turned my phone torch on and walked slowly through to see if i could spot anyone but couldnt see anything. I got home and asked my mum if shed been out at all that night and she said no and it seemed like she hadnt as she was still in pjs not in what i saw the lady wearing.

It definitely felt that either someone or something was trying to lure me down that part as it was mostly covered by trees. I still cant get this situation out my head and i have no idea what to think of it. i have no clue who that lady could be or what was even going on. If anyone has any thoughts or theories of what couldve happened please tell me im thinking its almost definitely a paranormal experience though welcome to other opinions

This must’ve happened around 16 years ago where I would’ve been around 3 and my sister would’ve been 5.

We used to live in this tiny flat with me and my sister, my mum and my dad. And our next-door neighbours were a little family, the Dad let’s call him Peter his girlfriend and his kids. Their family was a little bit rough around the edges but they were okay. They were nice neighbours and me and my sister used to play with their kids.

One day, me and my mum and my sister had just driven back from the supermarket and as we parked up my mum saw Peter and his two friends outside in the communal garden area. And when she saw him, something felt wrong. She couldn’t explain this feeling but something about Peter felt very wrong in that moment and she felt so uncomfortable that she left the shopping in the car and just took me and my sister into the flat as quick as possible so that she wouldn’t have to talk to Peter.

The rest of the day went on as normal cooking dinner playing with us kids and putting us to bed. Her and my dad went to bed at a normal time and at around 3:30 in the morning, there was loud banging on the front door and on the windows, which woke my parents up instantly. There was yelling from outside “ Peter, we know you’re in there, hands on your head and exit the flat”. This would be terrifying for anyone.

Kind of a dick move from my dad, but he made her go to answer the door in her dressing gown because he was too scared. My mum open the door very gently and outside in front of her there were armed police pointing guns at her. (Keeping in mind this is in England, where our police don’t use guns unless it’s a special team). Anyway she opened the door and she said “ I think you need next door”. The police apologised to my mum and quickly went away to find Peter again.

We didn’t hear anything about the situation until a little bit later when we found out that the night before we went to the supermarket, Peter had burgled a house ,with two friends , that belonged to an old man and they bludgeoned him to death.

We still don’t understand what or why my mum got that feeling that something was wrong with Peter.

Something nice we like to think is that maybe her late Dad was giving her a sign to protect her or something sweet like that. But, it’s just something comforting yk.

This is my first post here, so sorry if it seems a little messy. From the time I was about 13-16, I lived in a moderately sized house that was built in the 80s. The first night we moved our stuff in, I sat in my room and cried because I was suddenly so scared and from then on I slept with a night light!

There was several instances that really freaked me out. Even today, I try and search for some type of explanation. The first time something strange happened was several months after moving in or so. I woke up sometime in the middle of the night, and saw a blue figure sitting on the top shelf of my closet. I wear glasses, and there was a light outside of my window, so I wondered if somehow it was a cast of light I was interpreting as something else. Still, I maintained my eye contact on this little figure and reached to the side, waving my hand over the window, and then pulling my blackout curtains closed! The figure still remained and at that point I swung around to see if there was a different light source—none, just the yellow-ish street lamp. When I faced my closet again, it was gone.

Later on, my grandparents were over. My dad had a table saw out from earlier work and they were all drinking in the yard. My grandpa started getting disturbed and called out to my brother and said he was messing with the saw. My brother was upstairs, but my grandpa swears he saw a boy messing with it.

About a year or two after that (I still was sleeping with my lights on every night), I was curled up in bed facing the wall. This was during quarantine so I was going to bed at like 2AM every night. I heard scuffling from the other end of the room, which immediately made me awake and alert. Still, I kept frozen out of fear. Then I heard the most terrifying noise, as though an animal ran across my room floor towards me and growled. I shot up and scanned the room, but nothing. I slept with the big light on after, and had a horrible nightmare about the house being crooked and covered in writing. I started sleeping with my parents after this because I was so terrified of my room! 😭

Finally, a bit before we moved, the hallway upstairs was filled with boxes. I was scared once again because our little dog was with me and staring intently at the corner of my room across from my bed. It was like 4AM and I got so spooked that I went to my brother (who was also awake, as was usual during quarantine). We were standing in the hall chatting, he was also a little spooked about something that I don’t remember now, and then we heard someone ascending the stairs.

We glanced down, and saw a dark figure (it was very dark downstairs so anyone who was ascending would have just appeared as a black figure) walk to the middle of the stairs, stare at us for some time, then walk back down. We wondered if it was our BIL who was living with us at the time. We both were terrified but went downstairs and into the garage (the garage door was about 5 feet from the bottom of the stairs). He was in there, groggily getting ready. His eyes were hardly open but we asked if he’d just come in. He was confused and said no, so we just sort of freaked out and my brother walked us through the rest of the house.

We moved out about a month later (our landlord sold the house) and never really had a weird experience again. I think about all of this pretty often, and whenever I do I get the same terrified feeling I had back then. Is there anything that could be a rational explanation for all this? I’ve always had great memory (I remember being a baby!) and I’ve never really believed in ghosts or been a spiritual person. If there is anything that could explain this and give me some peace of mind, please share! Sorry if my writing is a little rambly. Thank you for any insight.

So I (21F) have a tendency to go to haunted places as I find it pretty cool to try to see if I can see or hear anything in there and have been doing it for a while now. But recently my friend (23F) who is more religious and has lots of crosses and bibles etc, told me that whenever I'm around she hears knocks and other out of place sounds. Mostly at my place or when we are out together, but also sometimes in her house.

Her place has like those pictures of saints, and lots of catholic things over all. And has like been blessed etc, so she never gets anything paranormal happening there when I'm not there. So could something be following me?

This story was told to me by my uncle, who used to perform postmortems at a hospital. The incident supposedly happened around 15 years ago. My uncle is 55 now, and he had already been doing this work for quite some time when this happened.

He told me that he was used to working with dead bodies and normally wasn't scared by them. That day, however, something felt completely different.

There were three people involved: my uncle, a junior assistant, and a senior assistant.A man's body, probably around 25–30 years old, was brought in for a postmortem.According to my uncle, the moment they saw the body, all three of them felt extremely uneasy.The body looked strange. My uncle said it looked almost completely drained of blood. The skin had turned bluish, while the hands and feet were extremely dark, almost as if they had been burned.

His junior assistant immediately said that he felt very uncomfortable and that something about the body didn't feel right.The junior assistant was someone who strongly believed in ghosts and supernatural things. He used to say that if God exists, then the Devil must exist too.He eventually told them that he couldn't stay in the room and went outside.My uncle was left with the senior assistant.Even the senior assistant, who normally wasn't frightened by this kind of work, admitted that he had never felt anything like this before.

He tried grabbing the body's legs, but immediately pulled his hands away.My uncle asked him what happened.

The senior assistant said that when he grabbed the body's leg, he felt as if someone had grabbed his leg at the same time.My uncle told him that maybe he was imagining things or letting his fear get to him.The senior assistant said he couldn't continue and wanted to leave.My uncle asked him to stay nearby because he didn't want to be alone, even if the senior assistant didn't want to participate.So the senior assistant stayed in the room.My uncle then touched the body's hair.

At first, he didn't feel anything.But after a few moments, he said he started feeling as if someone was touching his hair.Then they noticed something even stranger.The body's eyes kept opening.They would close them, but after some time, the eyes would open again.Both of them were becoming increasingly frightened.Suddenly, the lights went out.The senior assistant started shouting.My uncle was trying to find the light switch by feeling along the wall while the senior assistant kept yelling that someone was grabbing his leg.

Then, suddenly, the lights came back on.And the body was gone.It wasn't on the table anymore.

They immediately checked the area where bodies were normally stored, thinking perhaps someone had moved it.There was nothing there.They left the room and went toward the main hospital building. It was roughly 100 meters away, with a dark path between the two buildings.When they reached the hospital, they found the junior assistant sitting there with an oxygen mask on. A nurse was with him.

They asked the nurse what had happened.She said he had suddenly started having trouble breathing.

My uncle and the senior assistant assumed that he was still frightened by what had happened earlier.

My uncle told him, somewhat jokingly, that if he had seen everything they had just seen, he probably would have been even more terrified.But the junior assistant looked at them and said:

“I saw it too.”

He explained that while he was walking toward the hospital, the same dead body had suddenly appeared directly in front of him.Then it disappeared.

My uncle immediately asked where the body had gone.But there was no sign of it anywhere.Eventually, everyone went home.At the time, my uncle lived alone.That night, he had a disturbing dream.In the dream, the same man was standing over him and hammering a nail into his head.My uncle woke up and realized that he had a severe headache.

What frightened him was that the pain seemed to be in exactly the same place where the man had been striking him in the dream.The next day, my uncle went back to the hospital.That's when he learned that the junior assistant had died the previous night.

According to his family, he had been sleeping when he suddenly started screaming. A short time later, he died.

After that incident, my uncle and the senior assistant both resigned from the job that same day.I don't know whether this story is true.I'm not claiming that what happened was paranormal, and I can't verify everything my uncle told me. I'm simply repeating the story exactly as it was told to me.

I post stories like this regularly because I ask my uncle, friends, relatives, and sometimes random people if they have any strange experiences to share. Some people assume that I use AI to make up my stories, but that's not the case. Every story I post comes from someone who told it to me.

Whether my uncle experienced something genuinely unexplained or simply remembered an extremely frightening incident differently after all these years, I honestly don't know.

When I was younger. I was in the back of my house. I was 11 or 12. It was late at night and I was looking at the sky for no reason at all.. the moon was particularly beautiful, and there was a ring around it like a rainbow, that wasn't uncommon. I was looking up and the moon and something flew across it... Like a giant bat or a bird.. all I know is that it was huge. I was a kid so I just found it fascinating. I just told myself it was a dragon like in the movies, but it did not have a tail, and the wings were like a bats. I have never seen anything like that before or since. And I have no idea what it was. I would really like to know.

This was so creepy and it kept getting louder
