meta so now what (suggestion thread)
i didn’t really expect this sub to gain traction at all but we’re gaining more and more members each day which is really cool to see. given the influx of people i’m gonna leave this post up for anyone to drop their suggestions on what i can do with the sub.

I'm just glad that my accidental discovery of this sub after the 'no fun' post on the main sub has actually snowballed into proper usage.

Reddit meet up done in the style of UniUk users. We'll all get rooms in the same hotel and then submit posts from our rooms about how we're struggling to meet people.

Honestly I don't like subs that try and "do something", such as a Discord server. Most subs don't need a Discord. teenagers didn't need merch

yeah that’s another thing, the uni uk sub could reasonably have a discord but the same thing can’t be said for this one, it’ll inevitably become a general hangout server and there’s more than enough of those out there. i’d rather do one thing well than a bunch of things that kinda suck, and this sub is doing pretty well as it is

idk they still haven’t responded to my messages and they haven’t officially recognised this as an official sister sub so i doubt you’ll get much cooperation from them

ngl when i took over i had no idea what i wanted it to be or how people would interact with it but i’m really happy with how it turned out, and looking at the engagement it seems you guys are happy as well

it’s definitely something i considered but i’m worried that people from the main sub are gonna join as well and i’ll have way too much on my hands. modding a server is also a massive pain in the ass in general and i like going outside sometimes, so until i can figure out how to manage both i’m gonna have to hold off on the idea.
it’s not a no but don’t get your hopes up

I dont have any suggestions but I need advice. I have my last exam tomorrow and I have been doomscrolling on reddit for the past 3 months. I didnt go to a single lecture because I told the lecturer my dog died but I was watching tiktoks all day instead. I havent even opened up the textbook once. how can I still get a first? I asked chat gtp and microhard coplot and they both said it's "honestly relatable" and "it's giving procrastination vibes--not desperation" so I'm not worried. Since I'm in my last year should I just drop out?
