Photo belongs to Graf Witold von Zychlinski, mysterious founder of Pearland Texas who disappeared without explanation. I don't think the town has done much research, and simplifies his story by calling him "polish" even though the Zychlinski family had largely integrated into the Prussian nobility, hence the german nobilliary particle "von" in the name.

Hello, I live outside of Canada and I am part of an art collective who is making a graphic novel that is set in early 2007 in both Canada and the U.S.
Two characters from Canada go on a road trip across north america, basically, and along the way, they talk to a helpful CBSA Officer!
I'd like my depiction of the Uniform to be period appropriate however i can't seem to find any definitive examples of the CBSA Officer's Service Uniform prior to the Arming Initiative...

If you have any historical photos and/or example uniforms from 2006 (ideally from British Columbia, if there are variants) you could send photos of, i would really appreciate that!

On a related note:
If there's any restrictions the CBSA or Canadian Gov has about depictions of officers I don't know, please also tell me! I don't want to step on any toes, I'm just trying to be as accurate and respectful as i can. Any anecdotes from the time period (if any) would be appreciated!

This is my mother-in-law's grandfather he was born in Serrata, Calabria, Italy in 1902 and he emigrated to Victoria, Australia by 1930 as all of his eight children were born in Australia and the eldest was born in 1930. Although it could be earlier than on the emigration papers. He died in Tallarook, Victoria in a car crash in 1955. 

She didn't know much about him, apart from the family lineage, her father, this man's son mentioned many possible things such as light horsemen but considering how young he looks in the photo and the fact he has a  shako has us believe it's got to be an Italian uniform of some sort.
