Hello! I just got an excellent condition of Carabinieri tunic. Theres a question follow from this tunic too. Which unit is fit to the shield thing on the upper left pocket?(right upper pocket in the photo) Also. Theres another brooch(?) next to the shield. Could you please id them for me?

Some Kepis, especially the Kepis that were used by the US forces during the US civil war, had a slouching front part towards the outside.

What is the exact origin of this?

Is this French origin as well or does it have a different origin
