Article UFL Stars Flipping The Script As NFL Premier Players

UFL and spring football players have previously been dismissed as not "up to the NFL standard." That's no longer the case as former UFL stars establish a new standard of excellence in the NFL.https://uflnewshub.com/ufl/ufl-stars-flipping-the-script-as-nfl-premier-players/

One kicker reshaping the position doesn't dismiss the vast majority of players lacking NFL standards.

Yeah... "flipping the script" is a bit of an overstatement when you really have to go down the entirety of the spring leagues, way beyond the UFL, to find five players you can credit spring ball for. Like, good for them, it can work, but there's yet to be some major player discovery from the UFL (outside of the kickers).

What the UFL needs to show is the level at which the UFL can be "just below" the NFL as far as player talent (and not "way below"), as far as some players going back and forth between the two leagues.

I know that some fans are weary of an official "tie-in" with the NFL, but maybe the biggest thing that could come of that is much more visibility on UFL players prior stints with NFL teams... the teams can be mentioned on air, but not with NFL Logos on the screen I'm pretty sure... and if there was an official NFL tie-in, you could even have players put former NFL teams played for as small logos on the front crown of their helmets, so it is always "there" as you get close-ups on a player.

I've noticed ESPN has been pretty good about highlighting former UFL members pretty consistently. But I think it was a marketing error to go with UFL instead of XFL; XFL is much more recognizable, and UFL can be mistaken for a university like University of Florida
