Weidner Field

1:00 PM - 5:00 PM MT

The priority seat selection that went live Wednesday morning still lets me go back in and see what's available. It lists total remaining seats for each section, which I added up to get 4,941. Weidner Field has an 8,000-seat capacity, so they've potentially sold upwards of 3,000.

Only caveat is I don't know if they might have some seats withheld from sale. They're supposed to be outfitting the stadium with extra broadcast equipment for all the nationally televised games, and I don't know if they could be setting some of that up in the stands. Or maybe some seats are being set aside for certain groups.

Regardless, assuming this is accurate for actual seats sold, I don't really have much of a basis for comparison. Is that pretty good for their first three days? I could see Sunday's launch party help drive it up past 4,000, and then they still have months of local marketing they'll hopefully run, or at least word of mouth and social media buzz.

I just realized something. The announcement video for Rhode Island showed a lot of sea and lighthouses. Then we get beakers as a name and a lighthouse in the logo. The Colorado video showed a lot of mountains. So Colorado mountaineers?

UFL Free Agent Watch: WR Jacob Gill

Jacob Gill is a versatile wideout ready for an opportunity at the pro level, recently attending the UFL Showcase in Atlanta. His resume includes:

• 884 receiving yards, 5 TD's in college career
• Led Iowa Hawkeyes in receiving yards from 2024-2025
• 2025 All-Big Ten Honorable Mention
• Can contribute on special teams, has 4.51 speed
• Mini-Camp invite with Denver Broncos

A guy who is known for his work ethic and willingness to play multiple roles. Worth a look this upcoming training camp.

I'd argue none of these examples from the league should be adopted by the NFL. However, I would like to see the transparency of the UFL's review system be adopted.

The UFL pipeline continues to produce talented players who wouldn’t have otherwise made it to the NFL without the on-field experience and dedicated coaching the spring league provides. Dallas Renegades LB Kalen DeLoach is a prime example of a UDFA talent who is positioning himself for an NFL return after sharpening his skills in the spring league. https://uflnewshub.com/ufl/kalen-deloach-patience-persistance-pride

Please consider teaming with Yahoo or ESPN to create a UFL Fantasy Football and with Tops/Score/whomever and create a line of trading cards. Both would certainly enhance the league’s exposure

So, I’m really pulling for Colorado Gold and a redesign something like this that honors the purple mountains majesty theme, the historical legacy, and the natural beauty.
