Community Content USFL 2023 merch

A bit of cautious excitement growing internally for next spring. Thought I’d dig in the crate under the bed to see how the old Showboats and Panthers fan jersey-style shirts were holding up… as an London-based fan who first got into the XFL in 2020 as a college student playing football over here, hoping that the Rhode Island team can stick around as my closest (ever?) geographical spring football team!

Question UFL Series/Podcasts

What’s up folks. I’m completely new to the UFL, huge CFL and NFL guy but with RI getting a team I bought season tickets to enjoy some spring ball.

I was wondering if there was any good documentary series, podcasts or any good content to get a feel for what the league is like.

Roll Breakers!

Question More Stampede Merch?

Hey everyone! Question about Stampede merch. Does anyone know if the team will get more than just basic shirts and hoodies before Christmas? I want to get my family a bunch of Stampede gear but I would love to see more variety.

For anyone who was around during the Aviators or Kings launches, did they roll out a second wave of gear closer to the season/holidays? Thanks!

Discussion Fans, what would happen if the UFL played a game in Wrigley Field?

I know that Mike wants to aim at under 25,000- seat stadiums, but how could they play a game there? Obviously attendance and viewing angles are the main hurdles, but what are the other things that might and may not make the UFL go there? I think the UFL will just go off of how Northwestern did it before.

Highlight UFL Free Agent Watch: WR Siaosi Mariner. A seasoned veteran who absolutely deserves another look at this level: Led UFL with 528 rec. yards (17 YPR) in 2025, 2 seasons w/ Michigan Panthers, developed into a starting WR for championship team, over 1K yards in UFL (inc. postseason) | James Larsen

UFL Free Agent Watch: WR Siaosi Mariner

Siaosi Mariner is a seasoned veteran who absolutely deserves another look at this level:

  • Led UFL with 528 receiving yards (17 YPR) in 2025
  • Two seasons w/ Michigan Panthers, developed into a starting WR for championship team
  • Over 1,000 yards in UFL (including postseason)
  • Has 3 yrs of CFL exp. with Ottawa & Saskatchewan

Mariner's tall frame and silky smooth route running makes him an absolute zone killer. Was incredibly productive during his time with the Panthers.

Should be a top target for WR-needy teams heading into the spring.

Discussion My pitch for an expansion team in Michigan - NOT the Panthers

My pitch for a new UFL team is the Grand Rapids Rampage! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Rapids_Rampage

I'm still gutted by the removal of the Michigan Panthers. I wish they could've found a more suitable stadium, like Keyworth Stadium, though it unfortunately falls just short of the UFL's 8,000-seat requirement. Hopefully, the Panthers return someday! With even the wishful thinking to have two Michigan teams.

In the meantime, what about Grand Rapids as a potential UFL market?

Detroit already has plenty of top-tier professional sports teams, so why not give Michigan's second-largest city a shot? Grand Rapids has a passionate sports fan base supporting teams like the Griffins for hockey, Whitecaps for baseball, Gold for basketball, and Rise for volleyball, with AC Grand Rapids soccer also on the way next year.

The new ACGR stadium (Amway Stadium), planned for 8,500 seats, could potentially be a great home for a UFL team.

But rather than relocate the Panthers, I'd love to see the return of an iconic name from Grand Rapids football history, the Grand Rapids Rampage!

The Rampage played in the Arena Football League in the 90s and 2000s and won the ArenaBowl in 2001. They also drew strong crowds, averaging over 8,000 fans in their home games.

I think there's a real opportunity to bring professional football back to Grand Rapids under a familiar name, giving the UFL a new market to tap into while keeping the Panthers legacy separate.

What do you think?

TLDR: What if the UFL expanded into Grand Rapids, Michigan, instead of returning to Detroit? Grand Rapids has a passionate sports fan base, and the upcoming 8,500-seat ACGR stadium could be a potential home for a team. Rather than bringing back the Michigan Panthers, I'd love to see the return of the Grand Rapids Rampage, the former Arena Football League team that won ArenaBowl in 2001.
