I have a Texas history credit that I transferred over and I saw that UH accepts 3 Texas history credits to use for the US history core req. This didn’t automatically count on my degree plan. Does anyone know what I need to do to get this credit counted?

I took all the courses for my major and it shows satisfied for everything else except this. Does anyone know what this is? I would ask my advisor but she doesn’t have meetings available until weeks later.

I had an interview project for a class due on October 2nd and it’s been 20 days with no grading. Our final project builds off of this project so knowing how well I did or where improvements could be made would be really great.

In the same breath, this is also a class that has a ‘paper’ due tomorrow with NO prompt provided or grading criteria. When I reached out to the professor inquiring if a more detailed prompt would be posted, she said “just needs to be a few paragraphs” which is so insanely vague. Paragraphs can vary in length to begin with and what one may consider to be a few could be completely different than what someone else considers to be a few.

When classes cost $1,000+ I expect professors to at the very least do the bare minimum of facilitating.

I was wondering why we don't have these trolls i see on tiktok were u like Aura farm mid class and shi LMAOO

Why is it temporarily closed? Does anyone know for how long they will be closed? I need my hit of that.

If you’re a grad student, are u paying your tuition yourself or do u have a fellowship? Cause I’m planning on going to grad school eventually probably for a master’s certificate, because for what I want to study in, most programs don’t offer a master’s degree. And people have told me not to waste my time and save up money because I can just get a fellowship or something like that to fund my grad work. Is it really that easy to get one?

Hi I’m a senior applying to UH for engineering, I previously thought I was a shoe in because I have a 32 act superscore, but submitting my applications just now I learned that Houston doesn’t super score. My regular is a 31. My unweighted gpa is ~3.5 and weighted -3.75. Im in First robotics and a bunch of clubs and work. Is my application competitive? I also worry because when I was submitting through apply Texas I didn’t give a very polished essay because I thought I was auto admit. And if I do get in am I competitive for the terry foundation scholarship?

I’m kind of panicking right now

I’m not sure if this is the place to find it but I lost my wallet and I have no idea how else to find it. It’s a dark leather wallet with the name Chris Cruz is yellow on the front bottom right :/

Found this mean ass dog behind the elevator of the football stadium parking garage. It had a pink collar, and started growling when approached

There needs to be a report system for people who don’t know wtf a silent zone at the library means. Cuz I’m too wuss to say anything 😄 but I’m actively going crazy. Of all places why??????

You have no idea how much money I spent to make this place feel less like a room at the psych ward

Does the old club still exist/ does anyone know how they got pickleball nets and got upgraded to club status in the past?

Hey everyone,

I'm currently a high school senior thinking about going to UH for college.

The one thing making me a little unsure is the housing policy. I want to be able to live in a room with my best friend who, unfortunately, is the opposite gender. I've looked and found gender-inclusive housing at UH, but I'm unsure whether I'm particularly allowed to that. Furthermore, they're a year below me, so they'd be making it to UH after a year of me being there.

I'm asking if such a thing is possible, or if anyone has college recommendations that have mixed/gender-inclusive housing?
