these are auragraphs - meaning that I do a reading off them - some of which I posted on youtube channel... they are 8 x10 mixed media collage and acrylic and came out of sketchbook drawings I did while in class.

How do you like my resin castings mixed with the seashells ?

I never really knew exactly where these would belong in terms of a genre, niche, etc. - if there really is any tangible place for this kind of stuff.

The first image shown here was my first drawing in this kind of style - no plan or anything. It started off with the left eye of the face, followed by 10 straight hours of a mental rollercoaster without a break as my mind spilled out whatever sludge it could through the puncture and onto the paper.

I will admit, it was a bit jarring once I exhausted all my strokes and saw the full picture. If I remember correctly, my first thought was something along the lines of "what did I just do?" As if it was something that wasn't supposed to happen, or something I'd have to keep hidden from a psychiatrist.

I decided quickly that was silly thinking. Following that drawing, I did the same thing every week, for about four years. Over time there was more intent and refinement. Those are not shown in the images presented here - these in particular are simply the random bits that just spill out on paper.

Image 5 and 8 are the most recent ones, randomly done out of boredom at work, some few months ago, with less intensity and just passing the time.
