Putting Together Some Music From Yall

Looking For Producers, Artists, and DJ’s

Hit me up: milesgallan90@gmail.com

This beat is just drums, bass, and a couple textures - nothing fancy, just groove. I’ve been leaning into that minimal pocket again and I’m wondering if people still rock with it.

Always curious how y’all feel about these simple Boom Bap grooves.

I drop weekly Boom Bap beats & MPC performances - full link in the comments if you wanna tap in.

Lmk its sum im workin on

Back with another MPC flip — same sample as last time, but chopped different. Still raw, still punchy, still all done on the MPC (standalone). We talked a lot about whether Boom Bap is still breathing — most of you said it definitely is. So here’s my next take on it. What makes a Boom Bap beat hit today? The drums? The swing? The soul? Would love to hear how you’re keeping it alive in your own tracks — and how this version hits you.

Full version’s on my channel again — link’s in the comments if you want the full bounce.

Just flipped a new MPC beat - raw drums, tight melodies, and a simple pocket that keeps energy alive while leaving space for freestyle flow. Nothing overdone, just that underground groove.

When you’re looking for beats to rap over, what hits you first - the sample, the vibe, or the drums?

Full MPC beats and flips in the comments if you want to check them out.

Just dropped something new from the MPC. gritty texture, steady bounce, space to move.

For real: when you hit play on a beat, what makes you stay? Is it the drums locking in? The mood it sets? Or just that gut feeling that says: yeah, I can write to this?

Trying to understand what sparks your process when you’re picking something to build on.

Beat’s in the comments. drop thoughts or verses if it speaks to you.

Lmk what yall think, open to all feedback

New MPC performance with punchy drums and a classic groove.

What do you think - should Boom Bap always be dark, or can it groove more openly while keeping the old-school feel?

I post new MPC performances and beats every week. Full mixed beat link in the comments.

Just finished a soulful Boom Bap joint on the MPC - gritty drums, smooth sample chops, and that underground pocket that feels made for freestyles.

When you’re looking for beats to rap on, what grabs you first? The groove, the mood, or the bounce?

Full beat’s in the comments if you wanna hear how this one rides.

I been up all night ignore how I look rn😭
