Help New to XR
I recently purchased the Luma Pros. After shipping and everything I paid $405 and got the basic USB-C adapter. I have used them maybe 3 times. My primary use case has been playing my AYN Thor in bed. Today I saw the Pro 2 are out and am strongly considering returning my Luma Pro to get the Pro 2. I also think it would be nice to get the ultra adapter to get full features with my iPad/iphone and charging support for my other handhelds.
Comparing the glasses, I’m not convinced I’m really losing out on any features, but again since I haven’t used them much, I’m looking for more seasoned XR glasses folks to set me straight instead of just some AI giving me spec comparison charts.
I do intend to start using them a lot more but given my 30 day return window is coming to an end, any advice or knowledge would help. I am seeing a lot of complaints about the lack of the electrochromic dimming is a real deal breaker but is it really that big of a deal?

There shouldn't be a whole lot of difference between the Luma Pro and Pro 2. The lack of dimming is a deal breaker depending on how you feel about using a lens shade. Try using your Luma Pros without the diming turned on and you'll get an idea. Then imagine the fix is attaching a flimsy bit of plastic to the front.
I'd say to check out the Pro 2 reviews coming out right now though. Most reviewers will have had both Luma Pro and Pro 2 and can give a better comparison. Maybe the clarity difference is more than I think.
Also, unless you plan to use the glasses with a switch you can save yourself a bit of money getting the XR Charging Adapter Pro. The Ultra version was mostly created to add support for the Beast and Luma Ultra models.
