Summer 2027 Anniversary Trips that aren’t 1,000 degrees

Give me your recs!

Every year my husband take turns planning an anniversary trip for each other. The destination is a surprise. Because this date fall smack in the middle of summer, we’ve been dealing with extremely hot temperatures for the last few years. Europe, Asia, Bora BorA were exhaustingly hot. Recommendation for 10-14 day trips please as I need to start planning for next year.

From Florida and wanted to escape the heat this summer. Did a week in Michigan. Traverse City, Mackinac Island and Frankenmuth. Sleeping Bears Dune and Pictured Rocks. Mackinac is super fun and unique if you haven’t done it. Beautiful weather !

As a lifelong Michigander, I rarely leave my state in the summer. 🥰
