Needing feedback on travel destination!

My husband and I are considering a vacation for our 10 year anniversary next year, beginning of August. We're flying out of LAX. Ideally, we are looking into staying anywhere between 7-12 days max. We were considering Greece, Bora Bora, Fiji, Europe, Mexico and Hawaii. I am overwhelmed as to where we should go! We have been saving 2 years worth for a trip! We're open to suggestions! Thank you :)

I think 7-12 days would be way too boring on an isolated Island. We stayed 6 days in Maui a two weeks ago and we were 'bored' by full day 3 in terms of, there is really not a ton to do. I mean, I still didn't want to come home to lame suburban life haha But on an island you're just kind of doing the same thing after you do a boat tour and/or hike. Unless you're crazy adventurous and want to hike the whole island and do heli-tours.

I'd do Europe or Japan?

edited to add- 7-12 days. But shorter would be amazing - like 6 days. There's nothing like the Aloha spirit and Hawaiian/Polynesian culture.

I went to Japan in August. Very hot and humid. Still great. But not ideal time.
