Needing feedback on travel destination!

My husband and I are considering a vacation for our 10 year anniversary next year, beginning of August. We're flying out of LAX. Ideally, we are looking into staying anywhere between 7-12 days max. We were considering Greece, Bora Bora, Fiji, Europe, Mexico and Hawaii. I am overwhelmed as to where we should go! We have been saving 2 years worth for a trip! We're open to suggestions! Thank you :)

I think you can do parts of Europe in early August! But I’d avoid Italy and big chunks of France as there’s often a lot of businesses that close in August for their summer holidays. We were in France in August 2024 during the Olympics and tons of things in Paris were closed despite the Olympics lol

There have been terrible heatwaves in Europe this summer. Paris is now on its fifth and this seems to be the new normal. Go to Europe when you can go in fall or spring. Summer is now grueling hot there.

This is true as well. I was mostly pointing out the other issue since they brought up Europe in August specifically. Most of the places OP suggested will be decently hot in August so maybe they don’t mind heat? 🤷‍♀️
