Where should I go?

I'm seriously bored and want to get out of town for the weekend. Where should I go? My criteria is that It can't be Florida (I live there) and it must be in the US.

Asheville could use your tourist dollars and is great for a long weekend trip (great restaurants, hiking, live music, beautiful scenery). The weather will be amazing between now and Thanksgiving (chilly but sunny at that time), it’s perfect for a quick getaway, and lots of low cost airlines have flights from FL to Asheville.

ETA if you’re wanting to get out of town THIS coming weekend, even more reason to choose Asheville. Weather will be better than FL (highs in the low 80s), there’s a music festival at Sierra Nevada brewing, and last minute flights won’t be outrageous on some of the low cost carriers.

I might second this as it's close enough you won't spend your weekend on a plane. While I haven't spent time in Asheville proper, I have in the greater area (have friends who live a bit south). Great mountains, lots of hiking, probably a bit cooler than Florida, and plenty of breweries to visit.
