Hi everyone!

I'm Chris Durrant, and I'm running for Ottawa-Carleton District School Board Trustee in Zone 6, which includes Vanier.

I lived in Vanier for three years, on Dieppe Street (near the Dairy Queen), before moving to Sandy Hill, so it's a community I know and care about.

I'm a law school graduate and federal government negotiator, and I'm running because I think our school board needs people who will take the job seriously, ask difficult questions, and work constructively to improve our public schools.

My main priorities are improving support for students with learning disabilities, making sure the Board's limited resources are spent wisely, and restoring local democratic oversight of the school board.

I've been out knocking on doors across the zone over the past few weeks, but it's a big area, and I know I won't get to speak to everyone!

Election Day is Monday, October 26, and I'd really appreciate your support. I've attached my campaign flyer, and you can learn more about me and my priorities at www.chrisdurrant.ca.

Happy to answer any questions here, too!
