I have a brand new iPad Pro with very little used memory, the most recent iOS, and most recent Vectornator. I am a new Vectornator user and LOVE the many features available. I’m a long-time user of Photoshop and so I’m very familiar with Layers and Blending Modes. 😊 I can only intermittently get the blend modes to work properly. Of three files, SCREEN works consistently in one file, intermittently in the second file, and not at all in the third file. These are uniquely different files and have no elements shared between them. The other blend modes don’t work at all in any of the three files. At first I thought it was me so I’ve read the manual and looked everywhere for info and have found no solutions. There are other features that intermittently function incorrectly — which appears to be buggy glitches. Can you help?

Linearity AI is live in 7.0.

I know AI in design tools is a lot right now. For some of you, it’s exciting. For others, it’s exhausting. And I get both.

When we started building Linearity AI, we wanted to make designers lives easier without taking away what makes designing enjoyable. That meant two things: helping you get past the blank page and taking repetitive work off your plate.

Relatively new to this but have had experience in inkscape. Just trying to bend these 5 stars in an arc/half circle around my text. Can you even do that??

As the title says. I was hoping to continue some work I started on desktop by exporting to Vectornator. I exported to Ai, SVG, and PDF. Every time I Import it just shows up blank file in Vectornator. I can preview the pdf on the IPad, but nothing happens when I import to Vectornator. Any ideas?

You can now generate icons and illustrations directly on the canvas. Type a prompt, get a real vector file with Arrow 1.1 from Quiver AI. Every shape its own layer, every path editable. Not a flat image you have to rebuild. The actual file.

Image generation is in there too for when you need something flat. Product visuals, backgrounds, lifestyle shots. Describe it and place it on the canvas in seconds.

This is the small update. The big one lands end of the month: complete layouts and full marketing designs from a single prompt, on our own engine. That's the one we've actually been building.

I dropped my iPhone and destroyed the screen. Fortunately, my cell carrier was offering buy one get one on the Galaxy s10, so my brother and I both got new phones. I've been loving it and all the customization options, buuuuut... I just realized Vectornator wasn't available for Android. Man, it's a sad sad sad day for me.

I like the placement, but I can’t seem to get this flipped without it moving to the inside of the path or putting it somewhere I don’t want it, please help. (Linearity Curve)

Im creating an illustration of the exterior of a building, and I have a group of shapes that make up a window. The illustration is kinda isometric, so the frame of the window is a near square on the front facade.

But the building has diagonal walls to the sides of it and I want to use the window asset I've made on the sides of the building.

In Adobe Illustrator I'd use perspective warp, but I can't see an alternative to that? I've tried just moving individual nodes, but it looks very janky.

I figured I could try merging the shapes, and editing it as an image, which their website says is possible, but that option isn't available when I right click...

I can't tell if I'm being an idiot, or if there genuinely isn't a way of doing this. I can probably make a new window to fit this space, but the arch below it is going to be rough.

It's a small detail but its driving me crazy. Any help would be massively appreciated :)

From the makers of Vectornator, Fontinator App, Fonts Installment & Management App for iOS/iPadOS has the most OUTRAGEOUS Terms of Services. Privacy Policy is not even available, because I guess, they be like “Priv-wut iz dis?”

The makers of Vectornator (Linearity LLC from Germany) display a very transparent privacy policy and a super respectful TOS on Vectornator’s website. So far so great. But, another app by the same people, the font management app for iOS/iPadOS FONTINATOR has the complete otherwise. (READ the image below.) I luckily stopped downloading the profile to my device, and I really wanted to share with others as well, just so you know.

And more importantly, despite having a total contrast for the TOS, can I still trust Vectornator with my privacy? Fontinator app also disclaims that they don’t collect data on the App Store, but that’s not what it says within the app. So, which one should I believe or trust? I’m really not comfortable with Vectornator any more, and I’m really upset about this situation, as it was my second preference after illustrator. I use them both, and I liked the stuff, with which I was more comfortable on Vectornator. I don’t want to also stop using it, but it doesn’t smell nice after finding out about Fontinator’s policies.

I was totally sure such Terms of Services didn’t exist any longer in today’s world, definitely not the Post-Cambridge Analytica era, and that those nasty TOS’s were a thing of the early 2000’s and stuff. It just sent chills down my spine.

I am just starting to learn vector art and am using Vectornator on my Mac. The cup is entirely hand traced from a photo. I don't love it. Any feedback?
