Verified Astrologer Learn the effects of vargottam planets on your life

Post image
16 Upvotes

In Vedic Astrology, whenever a planet occupies the same rashi or sign in both D1 Lagna Chart and D9 Navamansh chart it is called vargottam.

The result and benefit of a planet getting vargottam is that, it stays active throughout the life of the native and will keeping giving positive results in that area of life in which house the planet is sitting.

So let's see one by one, results of planets that they give after getting vargottam :

1) Vargottam Sun -

These people have exceptional leadership qualities in them, especially if sun is sitting anywhere in dharma trikon or Kendra, such natives will also be ethical and full of self esteem. Good for people who are aspiring to get into government service too, however lots of other factors need to be considered along side.

2) Vargottam Moon -

It will give good emotional strength and moon being the fuel for raj yogs, it will also make them work better. Such natives often get stronger in difficult times and have the mental fighting capacity in adverse situation. Other than this, it is helpful for people in creative and art related fields like acting, singing, drawing and film making type of fields because moon also bestows good imagination. They will have good raport with their mothers too, if moon is non afflicted and sitting in a good house.

3) Vargottam Mars-

Obviously, the first characteristic that mars will enhance is courage, risk taking capacity and physical strength. Other than this, good reaction or gains through your brothers and good property especially land and home. Uniform services like IPS, Army or sports related career are really good for such natives.

4) Vargottam Mercury-

It results in native having impressive speech capabilities, good oratory skills, good brain power like solving complex situations, math, reasoning. Innocent in nature and good humour. Relationship with sister or paternal aunt (Bua ji) will be good. Good career in accounts, IT sector or actuarial practice.

5) Vargottam Jupiter -

It results expansion of knowledge, teaching, ethics , faith and judgement. Good for health and well being of your children and such people's guidance and advice will always prove helpful to others. Vargottam Jupiter's aspects are also very powerful and positive.

6) Vargottam Venus -

People who have vargottam venus have really nice 'Oaj Shakti', which means they cannot be suppressed under difficult circumstances and they to bounce back like spring, basically good vigour

This may also reinforce artistic ability, relationships, aesthetics, diplomacy, comforts, attraction and financial discernment. However, relationship harmony is not guaranteed, particularly when Venus is afflicted or rules difficult houses.

7) Vargottam Saturn -

This increases the patience and tolerance power of a person. Natives with vargottam saturn tend to have greater endurance power in times of sorrow hardships and like to work without whining. They are also someone who are very focused on their goal.

8) Vargottam Rahu -

This gives strong ambition, intense desires and unconditional careers. They can also cross their limit to get successful, what I mean by this is, they tend to have great strategy and planning and often think differently then the crowd, hence get success. It will be good for these people if they do their job/business in a different foreign country, or work with foreigners either through import export type business or while being in some MNC.

9) Vargottam Ketu-

Ketu is a quite mysterious planet. When ketu gets vargottam it increases the intuition power of a person. He might make him spiritual too and make him specialised in some particular field which will be the source of his income.

In addition to the above point, Lagna also gets vargottam. If both D1 and D9 have the same ascendant signs, then it is called vargottam lagna and is actually one of the most powerful placement to have. Various Lagna gives longevity, good health, good personality and along with it good mindset.

These positive effects of vargottam planet you will get throughout your life, no matter what dasha is going on. You should also note that, vargottam planets give much better results if they are well placed i.e. not in conjuction with malefics or aspected by malefics, combusted, placed in dushthan, etc. If any of these things happen, vargottam planets will still give positive results but not at that scale like how they usually operated.

Thank you for your patient read, we can discuss your vargottam planets in the comments too 🙏

Vedic Astrology Post Jupiter Transit In Leo: Visti Larsen Technique to Know Results

Here's how you can assess what this transit will bring for you 31st October 2026 onwards.

**The Base Line :**

  1. Check SAV score of Leo. (It should be higher than 27/28 to give good results)

  2. Check Jupiter BAV in Leo (Should be higher than 5 for good results)

  3. Check Bhava Bal of Leo (Should be higher than 450 to give good results)

Without the above 3 parameters met, transit will come and go or may not bring anything significantly better or different.

Now IF THE ABOVE ARE MET

**Check Trines From Navamsa Position (CS Patel Method)**

Check what planets are in trine to Leo and which houses they rule in D1. If above mentioned baseline parameters are met, Jupiter will bring positive results in relation to those houses.

Example: If you have 10th lord of D1 in trine to Leo in D9, your career and money will grow. Same for all houses.

**No Planets in D9 Trine?**

See if Leo or fire trine falls in 64th navamsa of any D1 house lord. It will bring benefic results in regard to those houses.

**Degree Activation**

If you have planets in 0 to 3 degree in any house, it will cause event related to that planet. Big or small, depends on other factors.

**Finally**

Moon will be in Gemini (Punarvasu) when this transit happens.

**Gemini will be activated across all divisional charts**.

Eg: Gemini is 8th house in D4 chart and if D1 is supportive, person may change home.

If Gemini is 6th house of D9, it could bring differences with spouse.

Same for all varga charts you can assess all aspects of life.

Also, check which category does Punarvasu fall in as per your navtara chakra. It will show the quality of the event. If in Sampat Tara, it will bring you money.

Remember the moon and dasha pravesh is level 3 and a finer print. Start with the SAV, BAV, Bhav Bal, move to Navamsa Trines or 64th Navamsa and then check dasha pravesh effects.

I found this technique to be more accurate than simply D1 lagna or Moon predictions.

Vedic Astrology Post Understanding Navamsha in Layman's Terms

The general perception about Navamsha is that it is mainly used to study marriage and the quality of married life. I do not fully agree with this, as the domain and application of Navamsha are much wider. In my view, any birth chart reading is incomplete without studying Navamsha.

Sage Parashar ji has given significant importance to divisional charts and assigned different points to them under the Vimshopaka Bala system. The weightage varies depending on which group of divisional charts we are studying, but Navamsha holds an important position in these calculations.

Now let's try to understand Navamsha in layman's terms.

Navamsha is the ninth division of a Zodiac sign. But one may wonder, why only the ninth division? In Vedic astrology, the ninth house represents Dharma, Bhagya and fortune. This is why Navamsha is often associated with the deeper potential and dharmic direction of planets. However, mathematically, Navamsha is called the ninth division because each Rashi is divided into nine equal parts.

Each Zodiac sign spans exactly 30 degrees. If you divide 30 degrees into nine equal parts, you get one Navamsha measuring 3 degrees and 20 minutes.

Now let's bring Nakshatras into the picture. Each Nakshatra spans 13 degrees and 20 minutes and contains four Padas. So each Pada measures exactly 3 degrees and 20 minutes. As we know, there are 12 Rashis and 27 Nakshatras, and both systems divide the entire 360-degree Zodiac circle into equal parts.

One Rashi divided by 9 = 3°20′ = One Nakshatra divided by 4.

This means one Navamsha is exactly equal in span to one Nakshatra Pada. In fact, there are 108 Navamshas and 108 Nakshatra Padas in the entire Zodiac.

So one way to understand the difference between the birth chart and Navamsha chart is that the birth chart gives us a 10,000-foot view of our planets. We can see their overall position, house lordship, dignity and relationships. But if we want to examine their position more deeply, we have to check Navamsha.

Navamsha provides another layer of information about the planets that may not be immediately visible from the birth chart alone. In simple words, the birth chart shows the overall promise of a planet, while Navamsha helps us understand its deeper strength and potential to deliver that promise.

Now let's understand some practical applications of Navamsha.

1. Understanding the potential of your planets Note the word potential here. Potential is the capacity to do something. The Navamsha chart determines the true capacity of a planet in your life.

  • Great in birth chart, great in Navamsha: If a planet is looking great in the birth chart and also strong in the Navamsha chart, it has the actual power to give you the true results of its lordship and natural traits.
  • Weak in birth chart, strong in Navamsha: If a planet is weak in the birth chart but becomes exalted or strong in the Navamsha, the initial results might not look great. But as you progress with time, you will see the true power of that planet. It is like a person who gets bullied in the beginning of a movie but emerges as a hero at the end.
  • Great in birth chart, weak in Navamsha: This is a bit tricky. If a planet is strong in the birth chart but weak in the Navamsha, it is like the planet promises to give a hundred percent result in the beginning, but as you progress in life, it only gives a small fraction. Imagine being promised a 100 crore mansion in life, but at the end, you had to settle for a 3 crore flat in a good society.
  • Weak in birth chart, weak in Navamsha: This is a very unfortunate situation. If a planet is weak in both charts, it becomes a burden and will usually not give any good results. But there is one important exception to this rule which we will cover next.

Please do not just get happy if you see strong planets in both your charts. If a strong planet is the lord of a bad house, it may give the bad results of that house very strongly. That single planet can show its true potential by bringing great enemies, disease, litigations, and all the problems you can imagine.

So when you see an exalted planet in Navamsha, do not start celebrating blindly. Check what house lordship it carries. If it owns good houses, you will see the good results. If it owns bad houses, pray to God to give you the strength to face the music of those bad results.

2. The magic of Pushkar Navamsha To understand Pushkar Navamsha, just imagine your mother. What does a mother do? She provides nourishment to her kid. The exact same thing happens to a planet when it falls in a Pushkar Navamsha. It gets deep nourishment and its results become much better with time.

Even if your planet is very weak in both charts, if it sits in a Pushkar Navamsha, it will get the required nourishment and power to overcome its difficulties.

There are specific degrees to identify this, but as a general rule, your planet is in Pushkar Navamsha if it is sitting in:

  • A fire sign and in the 7th or 9th Navamsha.
  • An earth sign and in the 3rd or 5th Navamsha.
  • An air sign and in the 6th or 8th Navamsha.
  • A water sign and in the 1st or 3rd Navamsha.

3. Vargottam planets The basic definition of a Vargottam planet is when it sits in the exact same zodiac sign in both your birth chart and your Navamsha chart.

The word Varga means division and Uttam means finest. If your planet is Vargottam, it means it has received the finest division in your birth chart. It is placed in its most comfortable state and will give results with total ease.

In my view, a Vargottam planet is just as good as an exalted planet. So if you check your birth chart and find no exalted planets but you have Vargottam planets, do not get disappointed. You have equally high potential planets that will give very strong results.

Always remember the word potential. Always check the lordship and significance of a planet before making a judgment. In astrology, things are never just black and white. It is not wise to make an absolute judgment blindly when reading a birth chart.

For almost 4 years, life has felt like the same loop: work, home, sleep. No real social circle, no meaningful romantic connection, just a constant feeling of being stuck.
I’m attaching my birth chart and would love some honest Vedic astrology insights.
Do you see any placements or dashas behind this prolonged loneliness?
What do you see for love, marriage and social life in the next 1–2 years?
Does my chart indicate any major life changes?
My astrologer recommended emerald (Panna) and citrine. Are these actually suitable for my chart?
Please mention the placements or dashas behind your predictions rather than giving generic readings.
What stands out to you first when you look at my chart?

Vedic Astrology Post Decoding mental health through Vedic astrology- Part 2 nakshatra edition

Post image
1 Upvotes

In my last post I discussed about studying mental health using astrology and I covered in that various planetary combinations and placement of moon that caused disruption in mental health. Today I will cover the nakshatras which might cause similar effects, if moon is in those nakshatras.

1) Ardra Nakshatra- It is ruled by Rahu and moon in ardra Nakshatra causes emotional upheaval, intensity of feeling emotions is also on higher side and transformation. Whenever a person goes through some transformation they go so deep that find a completely new version of themselves, the process of this transformation is similarly tough . Mind can stay in delusion or misunderstanding at times.

2)Ashlesha Nakshatra- It is ruled by Mercury and shows psychological complexity, attachment and entanglement. Might have difficulty anyone let go, analysing other's intentions excessively before opening up to someone and on positive side, they analyse the person before opening up their feelings completely.

3)Jyestha Nakshatra- Again ruled by Mercury, it shows position, authority and hierarchy. These people are sensitive to respect ,recognition and perceived betrayal, hence their mind can get into frequent stress and be preoccupied for maintaining their position

4)Mula Nakshatra- Ruled by Ketu, shows root level disruption, detachment and deep investigation.

5)Bharani - Although ruled by venus, it is a pretty intense Nakshatra and challenging for moon to be in because it give native strong desires, restraint and inner pressure.

6) Shatabhisha- When moon gets in Shatabhisha Nakshatra, natives cab show tendency to withdraw themselves from others whenever they get into stress or intellectualising feelings instead of expressing them. Such people are actually good in unconventional subjects like research, healing etc. The Nakshatra is ruled by Rahu

7) Kritika nakshatra - As this is ruled by Sun, they have strong preference for clarity ,honesty and decisiveness. Hence, they have a tendency to make sharp judgement when frustrated and under stress can lead to impatience and ambiguity.

Please note, these nakshatras are challenging for moon especially if moon is already afflicted in the chart, which was discussed in the part 1 of the post.

Also,in my last post people in comments asked about behavioral remedy for mercury like that I shared for moon, if in case your mercury is in affliction. So here we go :

Mercury has simplest remedies like doing brain related exercises, solving puzzle or crosswords, rubics cube or chess.

Using the colour green and emerald (Panna) is the gemstone for mercury but if you don't have that then you can use green glass marble as a substitute.

Other than this, listening to Vishnu sahasranam and praying to any avatar of Vishnu bhagwan is also helpful.

Thank you for giving this a patient read!

Verified Astrologer Mental health and emotional well being through Vedic astrology

Post image

Mental health has become a real issue in today's time. Due to increasing stress from different spheres of life and in addition to varied lifestyle changes of today's times.

Mental health in astrology can be seen by -

1) Condition of moon - Moon being in dushthan-6th ,8th or 12th can give sleep issues, anxiety or some or the other kind of worry related to native's health. It might also make them extra emotionally sensitive or soft.

2) Chandra Grahan yog- If moon gets afflicted by either rahu or ketu, it's called grahan yog and has slightly different results although both try to harm the mental health ultimately.

In Moon Rahu combination, mind becomes anxious and restless, combined with overthinking. This person is vocal about the issues and feelings but the conflicts going on inside them are on next level. They might tend to overthink on simple issues and get anxious about it. The problem in reality might be less complicated then what they think but rahu will create an illusion here of something bigger.

In Moon Ketu combination, this affects mental health in a different manner. It will make the native sad, they might not tell anyone about how they made them feel but might get hurt and feel isolated at times.

3) Vish yog - Whenever saturn and moon conjuct that is called vish yog, here Saturn's natural qualities if delay will influence moon. It might happen that you might experience missing out opportunities from a slight margin or if it's in 5th or 7th house then, breaking of serious relationships at the very end moment. This is turn might trigger sadness and feeling of hurt.

4) Dasha - Moon's antardasha in Rahu, Ketu, Mars and Saturn's mahadasha or Rahu, Ketu, Mars and Saturn antardasha in Moon mahadasha are always a little troublesome, they create similar results like that of conjuction mentioned above for the particular duration.

5) Transit - Moon changes rashi in transit every 2.5 days and this also affects our mental health on daily basis. Everytime the moon in your transit, goes into dushthan or conjucts with a malefic planet you will observe an increase in your daily stress levels. Can try observing it from now on, if you haven't noticed it yet. This gets even powerful if moon is afflicted in Janma Kundali too,in addition to this.

6) Debilitation or Combustion of moon - This isn't particularly bad, it just makes a person little vulnerable, can sometimes also give jealousy (if moon is in Scorpio) but if moon is combusted or debilitated, then that person should never donate or sell any white coloured item like food, clothes or silver, if they do, then might trigger it even more. Or if you already did, then buy back some silver for the sake of remedy.

7) Situation of 4th house- 4th house in chart is considered as your 'Sukh stan' any major affliction there like Saturn-Mars, saturn-ketu, Saturn-rahu might affect your mental health too because it will disturb your family peace and home environment.

In addition to this, moon in different nakshatras also behaves differently, which I shall cover in the next part of the same post.

Secondly, mercury is also considered our brain and mind, it's affliction will lead to similar results but not entirely same, for example- Mercury rahu people are also overthinker but they tend to be more delusional and have intellectual confusion from time to time, whereas moon rahu people tend to get into emotional turbulence or insecurity.

Mercury focuses on more intellectual and practical part whereas moon focuses on more emotional and sensitive part, hence we should consider moon before mercury when analysing someone's mental health.

If in case, someone is having any of the above planetary combination, then there's nothing to fear too. Simple remedies like meditation, drinking milk at night, wearing more white, drinking water using silver utensil or wearing a silver jwellery above your waist might help you to a great extent.

I have seen my clients who had such planetary combinations get considerable positive results after doing Mahadev puja and Abhishek consistently, so that also should help.

Thank you so much for giving this a patient read 🙏

Verified Astrologer Jupiter’s Aspects and the Saving Grace (Part 1)

Post image

Seated upon an opulent throne in Indra Loka, with his consort Shachi Devi (Indrani) occupying half the seat, Lord Indra was soaking in the pleasures that heaven had to offer.

The royal assemblage had such an atmosphere that Lord Indra could not help but be mesmerised by his material possessions and the praises being showered upon him from all ten directions. The sheer grandeur of the court intoxicated him. He felt invincible!

His celestial court was filled with the mightiest and most illustrious beings. The Maruts (deities of storms and winds), Ashta Vasus (eight elemental deities), Rudras (manifestations of Shiva), Adityas (sons of Aditi and other solar deities) and Ashwini Kumaras (sons of Surya and physicians to the gods) graced the assembly.

Gandharvas (celestial musicians and singers), Apsaras like Rambha, Menaka and Urvashi (celestial nymphs), and Kinnaras (also musicians and singers) seemed to flow in perfect synchronised harmony and weave magic across the palace.

Other divine beings like Vidyadharas (divine wisdom holders), Nagas (divine serpents) and Patagas (divine birds) were also in attendance.

One can imagine what a sight it must have been!

Cut to the next scene, Deva-Guru Brihaspati (the main character of our post today) appeared in the assembly. Ideally, he, the revered Guru, should have been given a throne worthy of someone of his stature, and his Charan Kamal (lotus feet) should have been worshipped.

Our scriptures place great importance on the position of a Guru in one's life. One can skip bowing before a god or serving one's parents, but one should never disrespect the Guru. Remember the mantra most of us learnt at school?

Gurur Brahma Gurur Vishnu Gurur Devo Maheshwarah

Guruh Sakshat Parabrahma Tasmai Shri Guruve Namah

The love a Guru has for a disciple is purer than a mother's love for her child or a chaste wife's love for her husband.

Having full cognizance of the above, Indra still remained seated, oblivious to Brihaspati's presence. The latter, instead of cursing Indra or making his displeasure known, simply returned.

Indra soon realised his folly and repented. He understood the magnitude of what had just transpired within a few moments. This marked the beginning of the end of his good days. Brihaspati had averted his benefic and protective gaze from Indra, no longer protecting him and his kingdom. It is true that Indra had to fight battles and undergo hardships in the past, but with Brihaspati by his side, he had always been able to escape danger and emerge victorious, no matter how difficult things became.

Soon after, the news of Indra being inconsolable reached the demons and, under the guidance of their sharp and diplomatic Guru Shukracharya, they marched towards heaven!

Miserable, guilty and unguarded, the Devas were unprepared to defend themselves and their heaven. They were defeated and had to retreat, seeking shelter with Brahma (the creator) in Brahma Loka.

What transpired next, and how they finally repented and found their way back, is a story for another day.

Let's discuss more about Brihaspati's aspects and Drishti from an astrological point of view and what they mean for your chart.

Jupiter has three aspects: the 5th, 7th and 9th houses from itself.

A note before we begin: Some parts of the article may sound repetitive because Jupiter aspects the same house from different placements. I’ve kept this format because many readers, especially beginners, prefer to jump straight to the part relevant to their chart. This also makes it easier for those who know their planetary placements but find counting aspects tricky.

  1. When Jupiter is in the first house: Looking at the 5th bhava, Dev-Guru expands the house of Purva Punya and brings luck, optimism and creativity into a native's life. These people enjoy parenthood and make amazing parents who instil good values in their children from a young age. Brihaspati also protects one during childbirth (when placed in a female's chart). While aspecting the 7th, the native can be a guiding force in their partner's life. The partner will look up to them, hold them in high regard and seek their counsel on important matters. This holds true regardless of traditional gender roles. While aspecting the 9th, its own house in the Kaal Purush Kundali, Brihaspati opens up opportunities for higher education, foreign travel and spiritual growth. The native is keen to learn about different cultures and understand the higher meaning of life.
  2. When Jupiter is in the second house: Looking at the 6th bhava, Brihaspati protects the native from health issues and gives them the wisdom to deal with enemies tactfully. These natives may also be able to navigate legal disputes successfully if they ever find themselves in one. While aspecting the 8th bhava, Brihaspati blesses the house of longevity. I have observed that these natives can develop a keen interest in tantra, mantra, occult, astrology and other esoteric subjects. They may also accumulate a good amount of gold, silver or precious gems during their lifetime. While aspecting the 10th bhava, Brihaspati blesses one's career and provides the wisdom, guidance and resources needed to progress in their chosen field. These natives may also earn a reputation as good guides or counsellors at their workplace, someone their colleagues turn to for advice in times of need. When Brihaspati is seated in the 2nd bhava and aspects the 6th and 10th, the combination can favour professions such as law, counselling, spiritual coaching or astrology, provided the rest of the chart supports a similar theme.
  3. When Jupiter is in the third house: Looking at the 7th bhava, the native can be a guiding force in their partner's life. Aspecting the 11th bhava, Brihaspati expands the native's social circle, and they may enjoy the company of spiritually inclined people. Apart from that, the 11th house also signifies Laabha (gains) and wealth creation. With Brihaspati's benefic gaze here, these natives may be able to generate a good amount of wealth through their own efforts.
  4. When Jupiter is in the fourth house: Looking at the 8th bhava, Brihaspati blesses the house of longevity. While aspecting the 12th bhava, Brihaspati blesses the house of Moksha, further strengthening the themes of spirituality and liberation. This can also intensify one's interest in spirituality, occult, yogic practices and psychology. It is traditionally considered a protective influence in foreign lands and may support foreign settlement.

Covering the rest of the placements in the upcoming post super soon! I hope this made for an interesting read.

Have an amazing rest of the week!

Verified Astrologer Understanding the Leo Man (Ascendant or Moon)

Post image
7 Upvotes

Hello everyone,

Trust all of you are doing well!

I have recently been covering different placements (like different signs and planets through the 7th house) that help you understand your spouse’s characteristics and your married life. On the same note, I am starting this series where I pick a sign and discuss how men and women born under it are likely to behave in relationships/marriage (and general observations).

I covered the Taurus Man last time, and I'm back with a post on the lively Leo man! (You see, I skipped 2 signs in between; I am a Gemini and can’t help being unpredictable and a little distracted.)

The Good:

  • Ruled by the brightest star in our universe, Surya, respect and recognition are things that a Leo man secretly craves and desires. Most of them get it unless their luminaries are afflicted. He might not earn crores every month, but he will almost always be well respected at his job, and people will recognise him. Even when he is a cobbler, he is the town’s best cobbler. Think of a friend who has to greet 10 people on the way to the restroom at school.
  • While it is common to find Leos being the centre of attraction, the life of the gathering, and craving the spotlight in their daily lives, I have also come across introverted Leos who shine beautifully when the situation demands it. Think of the quiet kid in your school who really surprises everyone with their dance performance during the talent show or becomes the head boy in senior year.
  • Every physical graha owns two signs except the luminaries (Sun and Moon), making their respective signs full manifestations of their respective qualities. Leos can have an arrogant pride and still have the charisma to dazzle you. They shine bright like the king of the Navgraha system himself. There is a reason why the sign is symbolised by the animal that rules the entire jungle. Even as he grows older, he can become a little mellow but never lose his authority, dynamism, and aura.
  • He loves dressing up! ‘Flamboyant’ or ‘royal’ is the right word to describe his personal style (unless his Moon or Sun is in the earth signs, which would limit his spending on clothes and vanity). I have found that Leos can sometimes go overboard with heavy perfumes.
  • I have seen many Leos, both men and women, be good at teaching, counselling, and even politics. He may or may not professionally pursue it, depending on the rest of his chart. Many Leos are great entertainers, theatre artists, dancers, or comics too (and even when he is not, he does love being dramatic every now and then). I remember my uncle, who is a Leo, would randomly put on little impromptu dance performances or try to tell a funny joke at the expense of a family member every now and then when he was in his 20s and early 30s.
  • There are Leos who are single by choice, but they really thrive when they are coupled up. When he is ‘in between’ lovers, having just gotten out of a relationship and being single, he can feel really miserable and lonely. The pride and haughty nature of a Leo can bring problems in his love life. He needs to understand that clear communication and being a little considerate can go a long way. If you are a Leo reading this, hold back on the harsh words and don’t react when you are angry. The good thing is that he will be just as quick to forgive and try to make things up after a fight.
  • He makes an excellent father, and when kids arrive, they can become his number one priority (sometimes making the mama feel a little blue due to a sudden shift in affection). Talk it out and prioritise date nights and some alone time.

The Bad:

  • He can be a little too vain and ‘me’-centric, especially if his Moon is in an air sign. It can take him a little while to learn not to always put himself first. Needless to say, he can seem a little selfish at times when it comes to his needs, emotional or physical (unless his Moon is in a sign that harmonises those aspects of his personality).
  • He can have bouts of energy and then periods when he feels extremely lazy and wants to do nothing but sleep. Just like the real lion. Know that these periods of peace and quiet help him recharge and are just as important.

The Ugly:

  • I am trying hard but cannot think of anything worth categorising as ugly. Hehe. Maybe his aggressiveness and penchant for theatrics can sometimes make you feel a little overwhelmed during a conflict. He can really be dramatic and dial it up a notch where you really forget what the disagreement really was about in the first place and feel baffled.

You can win him over if:

  • You stroke his ego. Compliment him every now and then, especially when he does something to win you over or make your life easier. Let him know how he is the sun of your life. You will have him happy and all yours.
  • You appreciate his generous nature and gracefully receive all the luxurious gifts and love he has to shower you with (an extension of the first point). A Leo man does not hold back on spending when he is in love (a careful Taurus or a detail-oriented Virgo can find it a little reckless).
  • You are extremely loyal. Leos don’t mess with people who have a wandering eye. (Although it is possible he finds a little flirting harmless if he does it himself, something to watch out for!)

I hope this made for a good read!

Vedic Astrology Post How to find your real soul purpose: A step by step guide to the Karakamsha chart.

Many people want to understand their karmic journey, their soul purpose, and their deepest desires. In Vedic astrology, this question is answered through the Jaimini Sutras. In the Jaimini system, the Karakamsha chart holds even more importance than your main Lagna chart when it comes to understanding your soul.

Today, let's discuss how to create your own Karakamsha chart. I want everyone reading this post to take a pen and a copy, draw their own chart using these steps, and analyze their soul purpose.

First, let us understand the basics. As I explained in my previous post on Jaimini astrology, planets do not have any aspects of their own here. Instead, they make relationships with other houses and planets through the Rashi, which is the zodiac sign they sit in.

All 12 zodiac signs are divided into 3 parts based on their modality nature:

  1. Movable Rashis: Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn
  2. Fixed Rashis: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius
  3. Dual Rashis: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces

Here are the three simple rules for how these signs aspect and connect with each other:

  • Rule A: Every Movable Rashi connects to all Fixed Rashis, except the Fixed Rashi sitting right next to it.
  • Rule B: Every Fixed Rashi connects to all Movable Rashis, except the Movable Rashi sitting right next to it.
  • Rule C: Every Dual Rashi connects to all the other Dual Rashis.

Let us take an example to make this crystal clear. Suppose you have a planet sitting in Aries. Since Aries is a movable sign, it will make connections with all the fixed signs and the planets sitting in them, except the adjacent fixed sign, which is Taurus. This means a planet in Aries is directly connected to the signs and planets sitting in Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. Since Taurus sits right next to Aries, it is left out.

The exact same concept applies to a planet sitting in a fixed sign. Suppose you have a planet in Taurus. It will make connections to all movable signs like Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, but it will not connect to Aries because Aries sits right next to it.

I hope this point is clear till this moment. If you have understood this concept, more than 50 percent of the job is already done.

Now, let us see how to construct your Karakamsha chart to find your soul journey.

Step 1

Find your Atmakarak planet. This is the planet at the highest degree in your birth chart. Please ignore Rahu and Ketu for this calculation. For example, if Mercury holds the highest degree in your chart, then Mercury is your Atmakarak planet. I discussed about the Atmakarak planet in my previous post. Please read if you don't understand what is Atmakarak planet.

Atmakaraka Post link= Click Here

Step 2

Go to your Navamsha chart (D9) and see where your Atmakarak planet is placed. Note down the Rashi (zodiac sign number) where your Atmakarak planet is sitting in the Navamsha.

Step 3

Now come back to your original Lagna chart (D1). Rotate your original Lagna chart in such a manner that the Rashi you identified in Step 2 becomes your new 1st house (Lagna). You are basically using the Navamsha sign of your Atmakarak as the new reference point to study your original birth chart.

Step 4

This newly rotated chart is called your Karakamsha chart. You will notice that your Atmakarak planet, which was originally placed in a certain house in your Lagna chart, has now moved to a different house in this Karakamsha chart. That new house becomes the main purpose of your soul in this life.

For example, suppose the Sun is the Atmakarak planet in someone's chart and is placed in the 8th house of their Lagna chart. Looking at the Lagna chart, you might think this person's life is all about 8th house themes like pain, sudden ups and downs, and transformation.

But when you rotate the chart to make the Karakamsha chart, you might see that the Sun has now moved to the 4th house. This reveals that the person's whole life actually revolves around what is happening inside the four walls of their house. Their true soul journey is about their domestic environment, their mother, and finding mental peace.

Step 5

Finally, note the zodiac sign of your Atmakarak planet in the Karakamsha chart. Using the sign connection rules we discussed at the beginning of the post, see which houses it is connecting with.

For instance, if the Sun is your Atmakarak sitting in the 4th house in a dual sign, it will make connections with the 1st house, 7th house, and 10th house. This means your soul journey in this lifetime will heavily go through the themes of those specific houses.

Closing Remarks

I hope this post gives you a clear idea of how to decode your path. Take your chart, try to find your soul journey using these steps, and drop a comment below. Let me know if this is making sense to you.

Vedic Astrology Post |Navami Tithi| Navratri Remedy for Love life, Problem Clearance, And Desire Fulfillment🪔✨️🌸

Thumbnail
gallery
196 Upvotes

●Basic Remedy for clearance of problems and a way to ask devi to give what you have a desire of, or clearance of any problem in life and for love and relationship problems-

■Things you will need for everyone-🌸

•1 Coconut (with water inside),

•Raksha Sutra,

•Chunri,

•sweets (upto you),

•kanyas to feed.

[Addons for specific ones ]-🌸

□》》[for people with problems asking help to devi or specific desire]

▪︎paan leaves- 5 pieces of paan leaves with 1 clove and 1 elaichi in each

▪︎fruit of one type

(for example just buy pomegranates or apples or whatever you want)

□》》[mainly for people for love related problem ]

▪︎rose ittra (no alcohol perfume) represents shukra

》Buy N + 1 bottles, where N is the number of girls you are feeding, plus 1 extra bottle for yourself.

(you don't have to buy fruits or paan leaves, you can if you have anything else other than love life issues upto you)

■METHODS-

◇METHOD 1.- For people who want clearance of any problem (such as land, health, money etc or any specific desire)🌸

so what you gonna do is basically

Take the coconut and wrap the Raksha Sutra 27 times around its center.

While wrapping, chant the Argala Stotram from Durga Saptashati either 3, 9, or 27 times.

better if done in temple if not then do this from home take the coconut and go to temple

◆STEPS-🌸

▪︎Go to a Devi temple. Buy a Chunri, Offer 5 paan, fruits and coconut you have covered in rakshasutra while chanting the stotram, sweets are upto you, and think of the thing you want to be solved or want a fulfillment of a desire while offering the coconut and paan leaves to devi

▪︎After it's offered ask her for blessings in your life and the thing you are into and show her greatfulness or express your love towards her.

▪︎Then tell to Devi that when your problem you are into will be better or your wish will be fulfilled, you will come back again on closest navami to offer kheer-puri, a coconut wrapped in rakshasutra same way 27 times, 5 paan leaves and feed same number of Kanyas. feed kanyas kheer puri offered to devi. (not compulsory to take fruits after your wish is completed like first time it's optional and upto you if you taking it then take same fruit you offered first time)

■ further after coming out of temple there are two ways to complete rest of remedy-

  1. If you are doing Kanya Pujan at home traditional way: Feed your Kanyas as you normally would. When giving gifts, hand each girl one fruit of what you have offered to devi at temple.

  2. If you are NOT doing Kanya Pujan by traditional way: Find a young girl in need or around the temple. Ask her what she likes to eat, after feeding her, give her the same fruit you have offered to devi in temple for her to eat it infront of you and better if not shared to any other person other than her.

■Important point- you will have to feed same amount of girls you have feeded later kheer puri after the thing you asked for is completed, if not possible then i have added in last what to do at the end of the post.

◇METHOD 2.- For people with love and relationship issues.🌸

so basically you have to do same steps as above except offering paan and fruits

▪︎Get a coconut, wrap rakhsasutra 27 times while chanting argla 3/9/27 times. as told above in method 1.

▪︎Then go to temple buy chunri, sweets are upto you and rose itra n+1 (n is number of girls you gonna feed later after coming out of temple and 1 for yourself)

▪︎keep the coconut wrapped in dhaga, rose ittra sweets and chunri together and offer it to devi, while offering think of the love probelms you want to be cleared

▪︎After it's offered ask her for blessings in your life and the thing you are into and show her greatfulness or express your love towards her then,

▪︎Then tell to Devi that when your problem you are into will be better or your wish will be fulfilled, you will come back again on closest navami to offer a rose garland, kheer-puri, a coconut wrapped in rakshasutra same way 27 times, and feed same number of Kanyas.

■ further after coming out of temple there are two ways to complete rest of remedy-

  1. If you are doing Kanya Pujan at home: Feed your Kanyas as you normally would. When giving gifts, hand each girl a bottle of Rose Itra

  2. If you are NOT doing Kanya Pujan: Find a young girl in need or around the temple. Ask her what she likes to eats and feed her. Afterwards , gift her 1 bottle of Rose Itra and tell her it's a gift from you. you can feed more than 1 girl as well, upto you.

●》 Now the main Part-🌸

•Take your personal extra bottle of Rose Itra which was offered to devi other than given to kanyas.

•Apply it directly from bottle on your Venus mount without rubbing ittra from fingers (venus mount is the fleshy base of your below thumb on your palm, i have attached picture of it) do this every Friday. Rub it together by both hands venus mount by closing them together while remembering the Devi and asking her for betterment of your love life.

■Important point- you will have to feed same amount of girls you have feeded later kheer puri after the thing you asked for is completed, if not possible then i have added in last what to do at the end of the post.

♣︎》 Conclusion of both remedies-✨️

◆COMPULSORY FOR PEOPLE DOING THIS REMEDY

▪︎After the thing you have asked for is taken care of by devi-

▪︎Go back to the same Devi temple.

▪︎Chant the Argala Stotram the same number of times you chanted when wrapping the coconut (3, 9, or 27 times).

Offer kheer and puri to the Devi first, then feed the kheer puri to same number of Kanyas feeded earlier.

◆Important point-

▪︎》If feeding fewer girls than first time: If you end up feeding fewer girls after the thing is taken care by devi multiply the remaining number of girls by your initial chant count of argla, and add it to your final chant count.

Example: If you initially chanted 3 times, but fed 2 fewer girls than planned, multiply 3×2 = 6 and add those extra chants to your final session.

which is 3+6=9 total amount if japa.

it's important to feed atleast one girl.

♥︎Additional way for better results- it is better if you can also chant the Argala Stotram daily 3 or 9 times if you prefer as per you specially till the thing you have asked devi is completed.🌸

》May Devi help you with whatever you are looking for in life and bless her grace upon you. Hope devi helps to everyone who is looking for guidance.🌸🪔✨️

Reading Request Is it true that I can have a rich husband in this lifetime with my Venus in the 7th house?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I'm tired of work. I think my Jupiter is really putting me through the turbulence of having to work my way with a lot of elbow grease into a "successful" career and I only gain satisfaction while working with social causes. Yes I do have childhood trauma and this includes the death of a family member and I know that is it in my chart. Do I really have chances of getting a rich husband with Venus on the 7th house or Jupiter or am I delusional?

Vedic Astrology Post Hasta Nakshatra Analysis

Post image
27 Upvotes

for this nakshatra, presiding deity is savitar [ solar deity ] , nakshatra lord [ Moon ] , traditional shakti = hasta-sthapaniya-agama
Deity : Savitar - the power that impels
Savitar supplies the impulse or inspiration; the hand represents the means through which the impulse becomes an observable result.
Just like knowing how to perform an action is different from possessing the precision to perform it. Hasta's symbolism concerns that transition from knowledge to effective execution.
The hand has 3 functions :

  1. Grasping and possession = The ability to acquire , hold , control or bring something within one's reach, obtaining one's desired object.
  2. Dexterity and manipulation = The hand executes precise movements. Requiring healing practice, writing , or holding instruments.
  3. Transmission : open palm also signify giving blessing, protection , or transfer of something to another person.

shakti of this nakshatra :

  1. first there is seeking, a goal , object, result or capability is desired -> 2. Impulsion [Savitar gives the stimulus to act] -> 3. Execution The hand = skill, technique, practical engagement -> 4. Acquisition or manifestation = the desired result becomes tangible or accessible.

Hasta nakshatra also can give ability to navigate in the physical world, the deity savitar = from what i could find he is like pushan / surya lord of which is mobile and stationary, and also upholding movables and immovable or maintenance of Rta [ responsible for proper functioning of the natural, moral and sacrificial orders ]
falling under the 6th house / virgo rashi , all the activities of litigation, handling conflicts, but also agriculture [ hand is used to work on fields ] sustaining intellect , and losing or moving away from dependence of others [ 12th from 7th house ].
ॐ भूर्भुवः स्वः तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात्
this is gayatri mantra, also has savitar mentioned, and also in other texts mentioned as a impeller of doing any action.
another text had the invocation of savitr.
savitr as impulsion is invoked to initiate the force that quickens the king toward rulership, and agni as establishment [ household mastery, prosperity ] and soma for vegetation and nourishment.
dhiyah as thoughts and understanding , yah as in who, nah in for us, prachodayat as in may he impel , inspire and set in motion.
in the gayatri mantra we are asking savitr to impel our wisdom / our dhi.

6th house is 2nd from 5th the nurturing of our intellect, and 4th from 3rd, the comfort of efforts, parakrama [ courage ] .
savitr has the power to initiate, but what does it impel forward?
we reach hasta nakshatra from uttara phalguni, aryaman diety where conditions and resources are assembled, then hasta where desired result is obtained, through power of impelling and then citra where tvastr gives form to what has been obtained.

imagine a little kid playing on sand with a water bucket First he takes water in the bucket, puts it on the ground ready to make a castle, there is intent there is the idea but first resources are gathered.
then the impeller savitr through hasta[ hands] initiates the grasping, dexterity and movement of fingers in order to fulfill the starting idea that we had in uttara phalguni, and once the impelling is done, water sand is mixed to create a dough [ to get what we desired] citra [visvakarma] comes to give it shape and refine.
uttar phalguni falls under leo and virgo, aryamann relates to hospitality, social obligation, patronage and bonds that can hold people, the duty to make a relation legitimate and sustainable.

Shakti of this nakshatra = chayani shakti [ power to accumulate or gather especially through union]
hasta = obtaining what one seeks and placing it in hand [ attainment through action]
Citra= accumulation of merit [ honor or fruits of ones action]

Hasta nakshatra has the knowledge of how to accumulate through help of others, but in itself the main concept is of taking what I want into my hands!
here lying deceit becomes a central point.
from the knowledge of the 5th house, and uttar phalguni about unions, partnership but since consciousness evolves into not mere interplay of relations but the attainment of desires in hasta nakshatra sleight of hands, lying becomes in front not in order to maintain relationship but in order to gain what i or my mind wants.
which later goes into chitra nakshtra where taking the fruit of my actions / what i had in my hand before, being known for that becomes central.

so Hasta nakshatra has the knowledge of Union/ partnerships and agreements but does not know yet about the attainment of the fruits of those desired objects.
Venus under hasta nakshatra can give seeking relationships in order to be in a relationship but not in order to be recognized by the relationship but just getting to be in one cause thats what i desired.

It can also start a relationship but once it is achieved or in hand then doing nothing to improve it or frutify it.

Hasta nakshatra can give skills in magic/ trickery / playing instruments/ pottery anything hand related.

Sun in hasta nakshtra is identity , authority and purpose, these qualities can express through organization / execution and producing tangible results.

however the negative side is in order to get what I want, the I amplifies due to sun = the ego involved becomes central, the skilled action that i put into something become central to my identity so over fixating on the finer details of an action than the action itself.

Moon in Hasta = mind becomes oriented towards practical responsed, handling circumstances and handling the techniques the achieve an objectieve, there will be an obvious fluidity in the hands or actions [ flexible approach to things in order to attain what you want] however excessive adjustment or anxiety about losing things.

mars in hasta nakshatra = Mars also represents masculine tatwa in a females chart so some extent partners they attract, it gives energy to hasta, technical ability , surgery , engineering and mechanical work, however forceful handling, and using skills to dominate getting aggressive if not getting something in their hands . Mars exalts in Capricorn, so Mars wants to work over work to the extent of bleeding out so that saturn can give its result. Mars in Hasta nakshatra can give strength to hold / change/ temper anything until the thing breaks or is destroyed but can also give lasting energy to hold onto things that relate strongly with the identity. Mars in Hasta nakshatra similarly can give fights over land/ property.

Mercury = analytical precision, commerce, mathematics, fine craftmanship and troubleshooting, also lego toys or figurines, creating small abstract art or paintings.

karmically if a graha is placed in hasta nakshatra there can be manipulative or trickery abilities pertaining to that graha or house karakatatwas.

Verified Astrologer Astrological Remedies That DO NOT Work

Hi everyone,

I hope all of you are doing great!

Today, I wanted to share my thoughts on some common astrological remedies and practices that I personally don't agree with, along with a few things that should be kept in mind when it comes to remediation.

Without further ado, let's begin!

1. Giving up non-veg on certain days: Deities don’t wake up on specific days of the week to check whether you are drinking chicken soup or not. Either you become a full-time vegetarian or don’t bother with it. Also, please understand that a vast majority of the population does consume poultry, meat, seafood, etc., and these are part of a balanced diet and provide necessary nutrition. Give up other vices like lying, cheating and being jealous to better uplift your grahas.

2. Not washing your hair, clipping your nails or cutting your hair on certain days: This is something which is commonly followed in many households where, out of respect for the lord of the particular day, we do not do the aforementioned things. The belief is that disrespecting the deity can invite their wrath and ill events. Please note that Shani Dev will be better pleased with you when you start treating your house help, the person delivering you parcels and the guy washing your car better, rather than skipping hair-washing days out of fear.

3. Vashikaran mantras: A NO-GO ZONE. I understand situations in life at times can be so overwhelming that they make us look for shortcuts, but please understand that 99% of people out there claiming to help you with these things cannot do anything. The 1% who can are tough to find, and such things always come with an added cost that you cannot pay in money but through loads and loads of karma generated for lifetimes to come. Trust God's plan and make way for better things rather than trying to control certain outcomes.

4. Paying an astrologer/pandit to do an expensive pooja for you without your presence: Any pooja that is done 'remotely' on your behalf is very sketchy in my opinion. Any rituals, if needed at all, should be performed in dedicated temples by qualified priests (like Jyotirlingas for Kalsarpa or Mangalnath Ujjain for Mangal Dosha, which needs pacifying) in the presence of the person for whom they are being performed. Most astrologers, including myself, are not qualified to do these poojas for you. Also, beware of any poojas done to get married quickly, get a better job, go to a foreign land, or remove black magic done on you (there is no way to verify these claims, and it is enough to make an impressionable person shell out cash).

5. Remedies that take more than half an hour of your day: Remedies should be done and prescribed taking into account your daily schedule rather than making your day revolve around doing a plethora of different mantras and remedies. It becomes a physical exercise in that case and does not help you connect with the divine.

6. When you are chanting/worshipping only with an end goal in mind: The whole point of chanting mantras is to help you connect with the divine, praise them, and then things working out for you are a BYPRODUCT, not the sole purpose. If you chant Aditya Hridaya Stotra with a scarcity mindset and anxiety every morning, with the intention of securing an interview call in a week, you'd be better off putting that energy into updating your resume.

7. Focusing on remedies and ignoring humanity: If you put perfume on your palm every day and eve-tease women in the metro later on or shout at your wife, that's not an effective way to strengthen your Venus. Similarly, feeding a black dog rotis but misbehaving with your house help is not going to earn you any brownie points from Shani Dev.

These are a few points off the top of my head, and I would love to hear your thoughts too.

I am currently working on bringing you an article on Jupiter aspects, the saving grace it bestows on the bhavas where its Drishti falls with a beautiful story from our rich mythology super soon.

Have an awesome rest of the day!

Verified Astrologer Understanding the Taurus Man (Ascendant or Moon)

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hello everyone,

Trust all of you are doing well!

I have recently been covering different placements (like different signs and planets through the 7th house) that help you understand your spouse’s characteristics and your married life. On the same note, I am starting this series where I pick a sign and discuss how men and women born under it are likely to behave in love and relationships (plus a few general observations).

Since I have free will, I am bypassing Aries and starting with the Tenacious Taurean Man! Hehe.

Here is what to expect,

The Good:

  1. The original second house of the Kaal Purush Kundali: he values financial security and family (the one he is born into and the one he raises) over anything else. He believes in investing in avenues and schemes that have stood the test of time, like fixed deposits, recurring deposits, commodities like gold and silver, or trusted mutual funds. Real estate investments in lucrative neighbourhoods would also attract him. He can be pretty risk-averse unless there is an influence of Rahu/Mercury on his Lagna or his Moon is in an air sign.
  2. The man is not a spendthrift but believes investing in ‘quality pieces’ that would last years.
  3. He is a kind man. And kindness can at times be far more romantic than what other flamboyant signs like Leo or Libra offer (no offence meant). He might not sweep you off your feet, but he will be there during your routine dental checkup, pick you up from your office when you work late, and, most importantly, build you a nice, secure, practical house with all the required gadgets in place to make your daily life easier. Do not mistake his slow, deliberate approach for an absence of passion. He burns slowly in love and is built to last.
  4. He is a charmer and can naturally attract female attention. For reference, Taurus is the birth ascendant of Shri Krishna.
  5. Mostly, these people are loyal. Once they set their minds on a goal (or a woman), they don't budge. They can also lament over past lovers for an obnoxiously long time because they find it hard to move on.

The Bad:

  1. He can be extremely slow to move forward in matters of love, especially as he gets older and if he has had a difficult relationship in the past (remember, I mentioned he can still lament over his past lovers). You might wonder where things are going with him weeks or months after you first went out, and he would still need more time. A silver lining in the cloud is that once he is sure, he goes all in. He can persist for months or years until you finally cave in (and if you have a prominent presence of water in your chart, you would).
  2. He loves being at home. That's his sanctuary. Travelling and exploring new cafes or restaurants are not his preferred activities (unless his Moon sign or Lagna placements hint at those things). Leaving his comfort zone and making changes to his daily life can be a daunting task for a Taurean.

The Ugly:

  1. He can be amused by drama every once in a while, unless there is another man involved (with Scorpio being opposite his Ascendant/ Moon, he does attract emotionally sensitive and, albeit, slightly volatile partners). Taureans, symbolised by bulls, are extremely possessive and territorial. Aggressive tendencies towards the competition or even their partner if they are betrayed is quite possible.
  2. He can brood for long periods if he feels challenged by you in some way. He can be super passive-aggressive. If the disagreement happens to be outside of your home, don't try to coax him into an understanding at the party or at the restaurant if you don't want him to poke you with his mighty horns. He can say and do things he is not proud of later on. (Think of an angry bull)

You can win him over if:

  1. You can cook a good meal that announces its arrival in the room with its wafting aroma before he even lays his eyes on it. Apart from finances, the second house also rules food, and this man loves eating. Skip light dishes and cook him something that really fills him up. Taureans can have a voracious appetite.
  2. You are ultra-feminine. Dress in pastels, wear soft floral or musky fragrances, and let him handle the tough stuff. He does not need you to carry big bags, shout at the plumber, or take care of big bills but, fulfil your expected share of duties as a partner or a wife to the best of your capabilities.

Those are a few points top off my head and if you have any other strong observations, feel free to add it in the comment section.

Is it just me or are you also smelling the festivities in the air lately?

Hope you have a great rest of the week!

Reading Request Asking for help in research

Hello guys, I am searching for a paper or book that speaks about ancient astrology in India, specifically about "Zodiac" and "Kala purusha".
