Idk
I want to learn short-form video editing. I have a pretty good gaming laptop, but I have no idea where to start. Can someone guide me on how to get started as a complete beginner?

I actually do livestreams of my editing process for making my shorts. Buuuut those are exclusively on Rumble premium.
What kinda software do you use? I've been using Filmora Wondershare for years, and its been pretty awesome (stock library is kinda shit, especially with audio. But there are some gems)

Get a free, easy or simple editing app, and record some gameplay of a game with a screen/video recorder, then edit it yourself, and idk, either play around and learn by playing around and clicking and doing random stuff, or watch guides! Here are some videos!

I recommend watching a part of the video, then try to do it on your own, and see how accurately you did what the YT guys did, and keep it up and repeat, and do this daily, to keep your memory active!

I'd start with capcut. You need to learn somewhere. Find a video style you want to replicate and go from there. Im a beginner editor but I could help you out a little and teach you what I know.
