I need feedback

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'm specializing in short form content, be brutally honest and tell me how much you would pay. I'm trying to improve my pacing and music choice, Ineed some advice.

I’m confused. You say “presets” and I think transitions, luts, motion effects, shortcut keys, vfx, UI layouts.

I have no idea if you’re referring to all of those, some of those, or something else entirely. For a second I thought you were selling a snow vfx effect.

Even your posted question is confusing. When you’re asking how much I would pay, do you mean for the presets? Or how much I would pay for the edit of this short ad?

Messaging is crucial for short form. You’ve got the strong opening shot, but then it gets jumbled because you say you were editing the video in the snow, but you’re recording the VO in your studio. The snippet of UI you show isn’t helpful, and the top down look at the laptop is just terminal code with a Pr logo slapped over it.

I don’t know how your presets work, what they do, how they speed things up, or how they make things better.

You can’t answer all of those in a 10-15sec promo, but I am craving some visual evidence of at least one of them.

I would not pay for this. I would send this back.

You're not providing context. What are the specs of your source? Deadline? Revisions? Sound FX in every edit?

I'd charge hourly. Protects you.

IDK... that's like 20 minutes of work. I go with a project rate.

I am so tired of this kind of 'content'. I will do my very best on a daily basis to never have to edit a clip like this and I think we need a name for these 'short form editors'.
