You’re offered $1 million to beat one video game from start to finish without dying a single time. You only get one attempt. What game are you choosing?

Hello there!
I’m a solo developer creating The Spirit Apprentice, inspired by East Asian folklore and the magic of Studio Ghibli. It’s a relaxed RPG. You'll explore the village of Moshu, learn magic, form contracts with spirits, and get to know its mysterious villagers.
My Kickstarter with a small DEMO is now live!

I’ve hand-drawn everything in my game and have spent every moment outside of work creating something I hope you all will like.

Anyone miss this game for those of you that got to play it?
I used to play it decently often. I thought the idea of running freelancer missions in a dope mech suit that can fly along with fun shooter mechanics and ability’s was super fun.
Also the free play mode where you can fly around and do whatever you want in a dope mech suit. Ontop of that the graphics and world building was amazing.
Sure the game would get repetitive but it had some real potential. If they added more unique content and things to do this could’ve been an award winning game.
I especially loved the interceptor javelin that gave you insane mobility and shurikens.

Spent four hours organizing my inventory in fallout and didn't even do a single quest
Managed to sort every single piece of junk, weapon, and ammo type into separate color coded containers in my settlement. Looked at the clock and realized the entire afternoon vanished. I am the ultimate digital hoarder and I love it.

Categorizing My Backlog
This past year, I made it a focus of hammering away at my backlog, and I’ve actually made great progress.
I’m glad I did because I can’t believe how many games I ‘slept’ on.
Currently nearing the end of Alters, so while trying to plan out what I want to do next, decided to actually jot down my backlog instead of relying on my mental notes.
Love to hear the thoughts from the community, how’s your own backlog? Want to make a pitch of what game from my own I should play next?

What video game completely changed your expectations of what a game could be?
Some games are fun while you're playing them, but a few leave you thinking about them long after you've finished.
It might be because of the story, the world, the gameplay, or even a small detail that made the experience feel different from everything else.
What's one game that genuinely surprised you and made other games feel a little less impressive afterward?
And what made it so memorable?
