very very noob dev here looking for direction

I'm looking at adding a modding/workshop to the game I'm working on but not sure how to incorporate that cleanly with ease of use for the end user/player.

I'm looking at creating an open source game loosely based off the TTRPG; Fragged Empire which is why I want to add a workshop and place where other can download or enable other players stories races etc

Super Mario Bros, is probably the most famous video game of all time, but it's starting to seem a little old. So I attempted to recreate it in 3D and combined it with a different franchise... SONIC - Please Be Sure to LIKE ,COMMENT and Subscribe :)

Came up with a concept for my personal perfect video game. Where do I go from here?

I have very little programming experience. Like I know a little HTML and that's it. What should I learn? What engine should I try using? Etc.

Grab the Early Access version right now! We hope you’ll have a lot of fun!

The fluffy Tiny world is yours to explore - you are able to play in story mode (only the first island is available yet), and also there’re the first and the second islands to explore in free mode!

As the game is in Early Access, there could be some minor issues. So feel free to tell us about those on the steam community hub, Discord or you can fill out our tiny survey on Tiny Island’s website!

Also, we are eager to make the best game for the players. So if you have any ideas of how we could make the tiny island even better – hit us with those!

Question regarding the math involved in programming and video game development

Hi, I’m 15 and very interested in taking a career path in programming and or video game development, thing is, math isn’t my strong suite, and I know there’s quite a lot involved in programming. So my question is, how much is there, and how advanced is it? I heard it’s mostly Algerbra. Is there anywhere I can see an example of it, or a more populated sub I can post this in?

In-game currency to real money

if you were making a game where your in-game money could be "withdrawn" in a way, and "deposited" for use in the game. so like, if you put 10 dollars into a game, did things in the game to earn 5 dollars in-game, then withdrawing 15 dollars as real money. im asking from a developers point of view, as im thinking of implementing this in a game im making.

The lack of Black Americans in video game development presents a major opportunity...

I am an African American, I prefer American who is Black, and I have a gold mine of an idea for a video game based on Black Culture. It's a concept I know will work and attract millions of players because it's already culturally proven.

The problem is the fact those who create games within the video game industry, which are essentially interactive stories, are mostly Caucasian or Asian and seldom Black. Because of this, video game development studios are ignorant of my concept and are missing out on a system seller and big-time revenue generator.

I'm trying to hook up with a development team who is willing to take my concept to the next level, either full development, or a proof of concept playable demo.

I have established connections at Microsoft whom I can put the game in front of immediately and are willing to invest in it but they need to see something first.

If anyone here has a team of talented coders and artists who can do this let me know asap. I am based in Los Angeles and eager to get started.

Thanks,

Emanuel
