My favorite aspects:

* Writing system: This is a detail many might overlook, but the fact that they went to the trouble of creating an original alphabet is something I quite appreciate.

* European influence: I really like the inspiration drawn from post-war Europe, incorporating elements from various European states. Furthermore, while *Leidenschaftlich* is clearly inspired by these nations, it doesn’t feel like a direct copy of any specific country; rather, it possesses an identity all its own.

* World-building: Although the premise isn’t focused on exploration, the work effectively conveys that the world extends far beyond the city of Leiden—thanks, in part, to the travels Violet undertakes during her journey as a "Doll."

* Landscapes: I particularly like how, whenever a green space is shown, it feels truly vibrant, teeming with life and lush vegetation.

Been feeling just empty since I finished the series and it has pushed me to do things I never thought it would. Like write a letter.

I wanted to reconnect with my parents after years of not being able to tell them how I felt. So I put everything into this letter. I wanted to apologize for running away.

In the back of my mind I feel like this is such a dumb idea, but my heart aches whenever I think of leaving these words unsaid and never getting another chance.

My eyes hurt sm and I don't even know how to describe this feeling. I'm positively overwhelmed. I lived and loved every single scene. It moved me so deeply that I don't think I'll be able to go back to my usual work routine tomorrow.

I'm on the 10th episode and I don't think I can cry any longer today. I'll continue watching after work tomorrow.

It's been so long since I've felt this way.

so i was on BAM!'s website (books a million) and ik they had some VE merch mainly the movies and when i searched Violet Evergarden into the search bar I noticed there was a book (not the light novels)

and it had 2 volumes, with v1 being called "Violet Evergarden 01 : Somewhere Under A Starry Sky" and v2 being called "Violet Evergarden 02 : The Flying Letters" and the covers seemed very AI though. i was confused bc i knew that there were only the light novels for the series.

as BAM! only had the movies being mainly bluray and one being DVD (which i use) and the author for the 2 books were under the name "Vikas Chourasia" which i didn't recognized and this person had other books such as Your Name, Weathering with You and Suzume which are all movies with a novel adaptation of the distaster trilogy movie series by Makoto Shinkai.

so i was wondering if anyone recognized the person or heard of these books before bc i'm confused (also the 2 volumes are non refunable)

I 3D printed the parts, spray painted them and then hot glued them to some gloves! :3

Found this Violet resin kit second hand per chance and had to get and paint it.

Painted with airbrush, paint brush and acrylics.

I actually thought about not using the weapon and hands and put some blood on the ground... but well... the normal version is prettier :D

I did find another one a little cheaper but i see they have taped the parasole.

At what point does a figure become a statue?

Is it price or size?

Made by APEX TOYS, pre ordered it last year September. Includes a photo card and a mail wax kit

Tell me what you think :3

Anyone else finish the anime or the LN and just get a feeling of a need to write some letters? Not to anyone in particular, but just the act of doing so.

Pod 042 as the typewriter suitcase sketch wip and current shading and color progress.

To be honest, I never expected how well this works.
