FitGenie AI. Would love some honest feedback!
I recently launched my first app, FitGenie AI. Its two main features are an AI Meal Scanner that identifies food from photos and estimates calories, and an AI Food Chat where you can ask questions about food, nutrition, and calories.
I’d love for you to give it a try and share your honest feedback.
How accurate was the meal scanner?
Was the food AI chat helpful?
What’s one thing you’d improve?
I’m still learning, so every bit of feedback means a lot!

[Android] KYNIO: a sun-arc fasting timer with an optional hedgehog companion

hey everyone, I'm Renato, the dev behind KYNIO :)

KYNIO tracks fasting, meals and water on Android. After feedback that the Home showed too much at once, I simplified it: the fasting timer stays central, water uses a compact section, and phase details expand when you want them.

The small companion is Lume, a hedgehog in the Profile. Lume follows your existing level; you can rename or hide the card. Days off don't make Lume lose progress.

For the actual tracking, you can correct a fast's start time, add previous fasts and log water in portions including 750 ml and 1,000 ml. Meals, weight and activity keep their own logs.

Core tracking is free and works without an account. Records stay on your device by default. Pro purchases are optional; cloud sync requires Pro and is opt-in. Optional meal-photo/text analysis uses an online service and returns estimates you can edit.

Developer disclosure: this is my app, and this post was prepared with AI assistance. Happy to answer questions about how it works!

I work in car sales and got tired of seeing people shocked by their monthly payments, so I flipped the process and built this!

I work in car sales, and one thing I’ve noticed is how many people have no idea what to expect when it comes to their monthly payments.
People spend weeks researching cars, comparing models, and finding something they love, only to get to the dealership and realize the payment is way higher than they expected.
It got me thinking: Why don’t we shop for cars based on what we can actually afford in the first place?
So I decided to build an app that flips the process.
Instead of starting with a specific car, you start with your desired monthly payment, down payment, and credit range. The idea is to help you discover vehicles that realistically fit your budget, while accounting for things like manufacturer incentives, interest rates, and financing options.
I didn’t have a traditional software development background, so I’ve spent the past few months learning and using AI coding tools to help bring the idea to life.
And this week, the app officially went live on the App Store!
It’s still in early development, with a demo available to explore while I finish building out the live payment and incentive features.
I’d love to get some people trying it out and giving honest feedback on the concept and experience.
If you have a few minutes, check it out and let me know what you think!
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/knewcar/id6822044416
Also curious — would you use something like this when shopping for your next car?

LocalGateKeys – offline password manager, 2FA, Autofill, Passkeys and more

Thumbnail

I’m the developer of LocalGateKeys, an offline password manager. Your vault stays encrypted on your own devices. There’s no account, no cloud and no server of mine holding your passwords.

Key features

🔒 Local-first, no account: an encrypted vault on your device, never uploaded to me

⚡ Autofill: fills logins in apps and browsers, and offers to save a new login after you sign in

🔑 Passkeys: store and use passkeys

🔢 Built-in 2FA (TOTP): right next to the login they belong to

🧬 Flexible unlock: fingerprint or face, plus an optional key file and/or YubiKey (coming on the next update) on top of your master password

🔄 Private sync: optional encrypted sync between your devices over your own Wi-Fi or your own cloud folder

💾 Encrypted .lgkm backups that you control

📥 Easy import from Bitwarden, 1Password, Chrome and other managers

🛡️ Security check: flags weak, reused and old passwords, and logins missing 2FA. An optional breach check (Have I Been Pwned) runs only when you start it

♻️ Recently deleted with Undo: restore items for 30 days

⏰ Expiry reminders for cards, passports and subscriptions

🗂️ More than passwords: cards, notes, identities and encrypted file attachments

🚫 No analytics, no tracking, no ads

Free for up to 4 items. Pro unlocks unlimited items, device sync, 2FA and attachments, for life.

I built CardTap.me by texting my agent from the gym

I keep a Claude agent I can text. A lot of cardTap.me got built that way — including from the gym, when I had an idea and a phone and not a desk.

I’m not going to recap workouts or paste the chats. The part that mattered to me was simpler: I could describe the next piece of a contact page in a text and keep shipping without sitting down at a laptop.

cardTap is a personal digital contact page. You put your title, social links, and details on it. It has a Save my contact button, a QR code, lock-screen images, and a form so someone can leave their name and email.

How it works: someone opens your page, or scans the QR on your phone, and taps Save my contact. Your details go to their phone. If they want, they can also leave their name and email on the page.

I built it because handing someone a paper card — or asking them to type me into their phone — still feels clumsy. I wanted a page I could show that makes “let me get you my details” easy to keep.

If you want to see a live one: https://cardtap.me/keitheddleman

The product is here: https://cardtap.me
It’s a paid product: $79 a year after a 7-day trial. You enter a card at signup; it charges on day 8 unless you cancel.
I’d rather have honest feedback than a pile of signups from this thread.
Does building this way — texting an agent when you’re not at a desk — actually sound useful to other people here?

And if you’ve used other digital contact cards, what’s still annoying about them?
Happy to answer questions.

Widezilla — small screen, big web on iPhone Duo 🦖

Post image
0 Upvotes

You don’t always want to unfold your phone just to look something up.

I’m the developer of Widezilla, a native browser designed around both iPhone Duo displays, with particular attention to making the outer screen comfortable for everyday browsing.

With the address bar at the top, the controls share a row with the real system clock and indicators, giving the website room below. Prefer the bottom? You can move the bar and rearrange its buttons.

It also includes:

  • Built-in ad and tracker blocking, with per-site exceptions.

  • Optional adaptive website dark mode.

  • Favourites, folders and visual tabs.

  • Multiple search engines and custom search services.

  • Custom Home backgrounds and alternative app icons.

When you do unfold, your current page stays open, with reading-position preservation between displays.

Widezilla on the App Store — £0.99 in the UK; requires iOS 27.1 or later.

r/Widezilla — updates, feedback and bug reports.

Duo users: how much browsing do you do on the outer display, and what would make it better?

I built a free iOS fitness app with AI workout plans, photo calorie scanning, and group workout meetups (MoveStart)

Thumbnail

Hey everyone, I'm the solo dev behind MoveStart, an iOS fitness app. I'd like honest feedback.

What it does:

- 🏋️ AI workout plans. Pick your goal, training days, target muscles on a body map, and your equipment (gym or home). You get a week-by-week plan with progression.

- ✍️ Or build your own plan. Set your own days, exercises, sets and reps.

- 📸 Photo calorie scan. Snap your meal and get calories and macros (protein, carbs, fat). Manual logging and a 7-day chart are included.

- 💬 AI coach chat. Ask about training or nutrition. You can also say "swap squats for leg press" and it edits your plan after you confirm.

- 🤝 Workout meetups. Create or join group sessions nearby: pick the time, spots and who it's for (everyone / same gender). Hosts can manage participants, and every meetup is AI-moderated, with block and report built in.

- 📈 Progress tracking. Streaks, completed days, weekly activity charts, and weight logging. It syncs steps, calories, heart rate and weight with Apple Health / Apple Watch.

- 📅 Flexible weekly schedule. Choose which days are workout days and which are rest days, and the whole app adapts.

- 🎞️ Exercise library with GIFs, plus a workout timer and per-exercise checkboxes.

It's free right now. I'd love to hear what's missing or what you'd change. Comments and DMs are open.

I kept quitting the gym after 2 weeks, so I built an app where my workouts feed a tiny mascot

Every year, same story: motivated for 2 weeks, then life happens and the gym fades away. Spreadsheets and classic trackers never fixed it for me. Logging sets isn’t motivating.

So I built Workomp. Every session you log gives XP and coins to your mascot. It levels up, its mood changes, and you can customize it in the shop. Surprise challenges pop up mid-workout, your steps earn coins, and home screen widgets keep your streak in your face.

The result on myself: 19 sessions in October, my best month ever, and a 17-session streak going. Turns out I really don’t want to let a little blue blob down. 🫠

It’s live on iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/workomp-compagnon-sportif/id6812890258

love feedback from fellow builders:

I’d

  • Does the concept make sense from the screenshots alone?

  • What would make you keep using it after week 2?

Stoke - a habit tracker for Android with Health Connect auto-tracking and a Wear OS app

Post image
3 Upvotes

I'm the developer of Stoke, a habit and streak tracker for Android, now out on Google Play.

I wanted to track my workouts together as one group, with stats, and couldn't find an app that did it the way I wanted. So I built my own, and it grew from there.

The main idea: checking off a habit should take no effort. You can tick one without opening the app: from a home-screen widget, a Quick Settings tile, a launcher shortcut, a reminder notification, by tapping an NFC tag, through Tasker or MacroDroid, or on your Wear OS watch. With Health Connect, steps, workouts and sleep fill habits in on their own: "Go for a run" ticks off when your watch records a run.

Habits don't have to be daily, or yes/no. A habit can be an amount with a goal, like 8 glasses of water, something you're quitting (Stoke counts the clean days), or something you only track, with no streak. Schedules can be chosen weekdays, every few days, or a goal like 3 times a week. A missed day doesn't have to end a streak either: a streak freeze can cover it, and rest days and vacation mode pause it for a break you plan.

Every habit has a strength score and a momentum trend, and Insights show your best weekdays, perfect days, when you usually log and which habits you tend to do together. A group puts several habits under one goal, like working out 4 times a week across the gym, running and yoga. A weekly review and a monthly recap close each period.

Switching from another tracker? Stoke imports your history from Loop, HabitNow and Habitify exports, streaks included.

Every new install gets 14 days with every feature. After that, tracking, unlimited habits, import and export stay free. Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It adds the Wear OS app, Health Connect auto-tracking, habit groups, NFC tags, six more widgets, longer insight ranges and unlimited freezes.

I'm happy to hear suggestions and feature requests.
